Chilaud Coolers Skhirtladze to the Exit

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Maxime Chilaud
Maxime Chilaud

Maxime Chilaud three-bet to 18,000 from the button and was called by Tamazi Skhirtladze in the cutoff.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Chilaud continued for 12,000. Skhirtladze called as the {7-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

Skhirtladze checked over to Chilaud once again, and Chilaud splashed in enough white 25,000 chips to put Skhirtladze all in. Skhirtladze snap-called for his last 61,000 and turned over {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for flopped trips.

Chilaud, though, had {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Skhirtladze quickly got out of his seat and was already heading for the exit by the time the dealer turned over the {2-Diamonds} river.

Di Nicola, Markov Play Friendly

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Day 1b chip leader Ermanno Di Nicola raised to 5,000 from early position and received three callers, including Anton Markov in the small blind.

"Friendly game," Di Nicola said heading to the {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop. He continued for 6,000, and only Markov called.

Both players checked the {4-Clubs} turn before the {10-Clubs} fell on the river. Markov checked once again.

"Runner-runner flush," tablemate Nina Krasilnikova asked Di Nicola.

"Two pair," Di Nicola responded, checking behind and turning over two threes. Markov showed {k-}{9-} for trips to take the pot.

Dedelov Wins a Classic Flip

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Fedor Dedelov three-bet to 16,000 from the cutoff before Dzmitry Vazhnik, from under the gun, moved all in. Dedelov spent some time in the tank before calling and turning over {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

Vazhnik had {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and needed to win the coin flip to stay alive. The board ran out {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} and Dedelov finished with a flush to earn the pot.

The stacks were counted down and Dedelov barely had Vazhnik's remaining 70,000 covered, sending him to the rail.

Dursun Anar Hero-Calls Margolin

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Timur Margolin
Timur Margolin

Ozan Kokkaliaris was all in for his last 9,000 from the small blind before Timur Margolin reraised to 30,000 in early position. Seref Dursun Anar called to create a side pot.

The flop came {3-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Margolin continued for 27,000. Dursun Anar called to see the {9-Spades} on the turn, when Margolin moved all in for 74,500.

Dursun Anar tanked for about a minute before calling. Margolin gave a sigh and signed {k-Spades}{9-Spades} for straight and flush draws. Dursun Anar had {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a pair of tens, while Kokkiliaris, who spent the entire hand pacing around the table, opened up {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

The river came the {j-Hearts} and Dursun Anar finished with two pair to send both players to the rail.

"Always a flush draw," a tablemate told Dursun Anar after the hand, complimenting him on the good call.

Yaghmai Runs Into a Monster

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Nariman Yaghmai was in the small blind and he shoved all in for around 40,000. Sergey Baranski, in the big blind, woke up with {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} and snap-called.

Yaghmai turned over {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and needed significant help. He didn't get any on the {4-Spades}{a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop and was already getting out of his seat as the board ran out {7-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Mustafov Sends Istomin Into the Tank

Level 10 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

There was already around 80,000 in the middle on a flop of {9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} when Aleksei Istomin bet 25,500 in middle position. Fahredin Mustafov, on the button, then shoved all in for 137,500.

Istomin went into the tank for several minutes before a tablemate called the clock. Just before the tournament official reached zero, Istomin tossed in the chips to call.

Mustafov turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, while Istomin was on a draw with {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The board ran out {3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Mustafov's tens stayed in front to earn him a massive double.

"Are you streaming this," Mustafov asked, seeing the camera attached to Istomin's phone.

"Yeah, that's why," Istomin responded.
