Runcan Flops the Wheel and Busts Michalak

On a flop of 5♥2♣4♠, Jakub Michalak checked from under the gun and Paul Runcan bet 18,000 from the hijack. Michalak check-raised to 60,000 and Runcan carved out the call.

The two players checked the 4♦ turn to see the J♠ come on the river. Michalak bet 140,000 with just 30,000 behind. Runcan shoved and Michalak begrudgingly called for the last of his chips.

Michalak had just a pair of jacks and was second best to flopped wheel for Runcan, meaning Michalak busted just before the end of the day.

Edward Quinn raised to 12,000 from middle position and Antoine Hasbani shoved out of the small blind for roughly 80,000. Quinns called to try and bust Hasbani.

Hasbani was dominated by Quinn's Big Slick and needed a six to stay alive. However, the runout of 2♦K♠5♣5♥J♥ didn't help Hasbani as Quinn improved to a pair of kings. Hasbani was out and the pot was pushed over to Quinn.

Tang's Cowboys End Chernikov's Tournament

Aleksandr Chernikov raised to 10,000 from middle position before Xin Tang three-bet to 32,000 from the but hijack. Chernikov four-bet to 85,000 and Tang made the call.

AS soon as the J♣5♠8♥ flop came down Chernikov shoved for 254,000, which Tang snap-called.

Tang's slowplay of pocket kings had worked out perfectly for him as Chernikov had just a few outs he could hit to stay in the tournament. There was no help for Chernikov as the rest of the board ran out 3♦A♥, meaning he was out of the tournament, and Tang became one of the biggest stacks in the room.

Suat Egilli raised the minimum to 3,000 from early position and Recep Aydemir shoved for 19,000 from a few seats over. After it folded back to Egilli, he called to put Aydemir at risk.

Aydemir came in as one of the short stacks and might be headed to the cashier's desk to rebuy if Egilli found a queen or ten. The board ran out Q♠6♥6♠5♦6♣, giving Egilli the winner with a full house and sending Aydemir out the door.
