On the flop, it checks to Sohel who continues for 1,200, only Chan folds, taking them three-handed to the turn. It checks to Sohel again, who barrels for 1,600 and Hoang folds before Ahmed ups it to 5,200. Sohel takes his time, having another look at his cards before giving up.
Kastriot Shytani opened the action in early position and was three-bet all in by Dragos Haluca. Another player who was down to the wire called, before Jiten Chauhan moved all in over the top. Back on Shytani and he called the rest, leaving the four players to turn over their holdings in the biggest pot of the tournament to date.
Chauhan was the preflop favorite and stayed that way on the flop. The turn was very bad news for Chauhan, leaving him down to just two outs, as Shytani moved ahead with a pair of aces.
The river improved Shytani to two-pair and he sends two players to the rail, as well as taking a chunk out of Chauhan. So far, his decision to play a second bullet has been a profitable one.
William Whicher was heads up in position on the turn with on display. He flat calls a 4,100 bet and the dealer lays a on the river.
His opponent puts 16,000 over the line, which is enough to set Whicher all in but he finds a call with . It is good enough, with his opponent showing and he nets the double.
Mohammed Sohel opened to 2,000 under the gun and Enrico Milia flatted on the cutoff, with Stefan-Fabian Jivoin calling from the small blind.
On the flop, Jivoin checked and Sohel continued for 3,000. Both Milia and Jivoin called.
The turn was the , pairing the bottom card and this time it checked through to the river. After a final check from Jivoin, Sohel bet 5,000 and got two quick calls from both his opponents. Jivoin and Milia turned over and respectively and they chopped the pot.
Despite that hit, Sohel is still in good shape, with almost double starting stack.
