Everyone knows who this kid is, the reigning World Series of Poker Main Event champion. Since winning the massive prize of $8,944,310 in that event, Duhamel hasn’t been a slouch on the felt. In the beginning of 2011, Duhamel traveled to the European Poker Tour Deauville event and won the €10,000 High Roller for €200,000. That’s not all he’s done though.
Duhamel went to the NBC National Heads-Up Championship and placed fourth in a field that contained some of the best players in the world. Duhamel scored $125,000 for his finish there, eventually falling to fellow WSOP champion Chris Moneymaker.
When it came time for heads-up play at his Bounty Shootout table, Duhamel was heads up with none other than Moneymaker. The rematch only had to wait a few days and this time Duhamel came out on top.
Duhamel collected four bounties while sitting at the feature table on his starting day.
Ali Eslami raised to 425 from early position only to be raised to 1,200 by Jonathan Duhamel on the button. The blinds got out of the way, Eslami made the call, and the flop came down .

A huge hand early on at the Bounty Shootout just occurred. It began when John Smith raised to 600, Jonathan Duhamel called, and Victor Ramdin reraised to 2,650. Action folded back to Smith and he repopped it to 7,100. Duhamel wisely got out of the way while Ramdin made the call.

We're barely 30 minutes in to the tournament and already we've seen two monster pots. In the most recent, Jonathan Duhamel raised preflop and received calls from Alex Keating and Shane Schleger. When action reached John Smith in the big blind, he reraised to 4,200. Duhamel responded by making it 11,7000, which pushed Keating and Schleger out of the pot, and Smith moved all in. Duhamel's pair of tens proved to be the winner and he scooped the entire pot. In the process, he eliminated Ramdin in ninth place and earned his fifth bounty to tie for the lead in the bounty race with the already eliminated Shawn Buchanan and Sameer Al Janedi.
Ramdin took home $48,000 total from this bounty event. When you combine that with the $500,000 he won the the $5,000 Main Event here at The Big Event at The Bike, Ramdin's weekly total is a cool $548,000.
