Ji and Andre Play Big Pot

Level 1 : 100/200, 0 ante

Xia Qing Ji did not get to hold on to his new chips for very long and has passed them all over to Cyril Andre, with the Frenchman taking an early lead.

It was Ji the man driving the action with an early position open to 600 with Andre re-raising from the cutoff to 2,200. After the blinds bowed out Ji re-popped it to 6,300 in total and Andre made the call.

The {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop saw Ji continuation-bet 6,600 with Andre calling in position once more to bring in the {3-Spades} turn.

Ji reached for chips and loaded up another barrel, this one a slightly heftier 11,000, with Andre calling once again.

The {j-Hearts} river saw Ji mull over his options before pulling the trigger and moving all-in, eliciting an instant call from Andre. Ji rolled over {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for an ace-high airball, which was trailing to Andre's {j-Spades}{2-Spades}. Andre climbed to 96,000 after the hand, while Ji dropped to 21,000.
