Ladouceur Eliminated

Level 1
Marc-Andre Ladouceur
Marc-Andre Ladouceur

Under unknown circumstances we've lost Marc-Andre Ladouceur on one of the outer tables. Team Canada's still in great shape, but down one more player.

Gnatenko and Danzer Depart

Level 1

Isaac Haxton has an overwhelming chip lead over Andrew Chen heads-up after he eliminated Oleksandr Gnatenko and George Danzer in quick succession.

Gnatenko was in good shape with {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} but Haxton made a flush with {a-Spades}{4-Spades} on a {j-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} board.

"That's why Ukraine were 40-1!" needled Haxton as Gnatenko walked off.

Minutes later he ousted Danzer when his king-queen made a full house versus Danzer's king-jack.

Schemion Doubles Giuliano Bendinelli

Level 1

Oliver Price shoved from the button with {K-Spades}{8-Spades} and Ole Schemion in the big blind made the call holding {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}.

The board ran out {J-Spades}{A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and Price busted in third position.

Schemion was heads up now with Team Iltay's Giuliano Bendinelli, but it could have been all over not much later. Could have.

Bendinelli shoved all in for 35,000 and Ole Schemion made the call.

Giuliano Bendinelli: {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}
Ole Schemion: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Bendinelli doubled. Bendinelli and Schemion now about even in chips.
