After a raise to 400 by a player in early position, Jiaxing Wang three-bet to 1,000 from one seat over and Bing Zhou four-bet to 3,000. Defending Red Dragon Jeju champion Yuechun Shi five-bet to 11,500 and that forced folds all the way to Zhou who moved all in. Shi quickly called and one of the players fully expected an aces versus kings showdown.
Yuechun Shi:
Bing Zhou:
Shi was dominated and needed to catch any queen or straight cards to avoid an early re-entry. However, the board came and Zhou made a full house for good measure to send Shi to the rail in the second level of the day. He has a single re-entry for Day 1b and up to two bullets on Day 1c left if he wants to take another shot at back-to-back titles in Jeju.
