Battling Like a Warrior

The turn had already been dealt and it gave us a board of {10-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {8-Spades}.

The pot was a six-way limp-fest and the passiveness continued as all players checked the flop. Mads Andersen put a stop to this after the turn had been dealt with a 1,300 bet, but this was instantly raised up to 4,075 by the player in the next seat.

Philippe Rouas was next to act and after a good deal of thought he moved all in. Andersen moved out of the way to let the other player make the call for most of his chips with {8-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}. He was behind to Rouas' {6-Clubs} {7-Clubs}.

The river of {Q-Hearts} changed nothing, enabling Rouas to get back up to his starting stack of 20,000.
