Negreanu Flushes Laak's Set

On a {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} Phil Laak bet with pocket threes, and was called by Daniel Negreanu who held {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The turn gave Laak his set, as it fell the {3-Clubs} and he quickly smooth-called Negreanu's 32,000 bet.

The {a-Hearts} river was gin for Negreanu, who elected to just check his flush allowing Laak to check behind and lose the minimum with his set.

Players Getting Loopy?

Roland De Wolfe decided to get frisky raising it up to 28,000 with {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, and Giovanni Safina must have been checking PokerNews on the break seeing De Wolfe has been mixing it up, and three-bet making it 68,000 more. De Wolfe folded.

The next hand, David Benyamine raised with {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}, and Luke Schwartz three-bet him with {5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} prompting a quick fold from Benyamine. Schwartz triumphantly flipped his bluff over for all to see, and everyone got a laugh.

Benyamine Getting Crafty With Qualifier

Switching things up a bit, David Benyamine decided to limp the button with {k-Spades}{j-Spades} and Safina checked his option with {k-Diamonds}{3-Spades}. The {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop brought both players top pair, and it looked like Benyamine's sneaky limp may have worked.

The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Safina checked, and Benyamine bet 22,000. Safina then raised it up to 60,000 and Benyamine made the call. The river missed both players, and Safina checked to Benyamine, who bet 50,000. Safina went into the tank before correctly making the fold.

David Benyamine is now on 275,000, while Safina dips to 300,000.
