Safina Bluffs Rousso

Vanesaa Rousso limped with the {J-Spades}{10-Spades} and Giovanni Safina raised to 18,000 with the {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Rousso made the call.

The flop came down {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and Rousso checked to Safina. He bet 18,000 and Rousso called.

The river completed the board with the {6-Hearts} and Rousso checked. Safina bet 45,000 and Rousso went into the tank. Eventually, she let her hand go and Safina picked up the pot with a bluff.

No Action Again for Frazer

Daniel Negreanu looked down at the {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and raised to 12,000, continuing his small-ball approach. Phil Hellmuth was in the small blind and held the {K-Hearts}{2-Spades} and gave it a thought before folding.

Ian Frazer was in the big blind and woke up to aces again -- {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}. He reraised to 32,000 and Negreanu made the fold.

Aces again for the tightest player at the table, and once again, no action.

Timoshenko and Negreanu Chop

Daniel Negreanu raised to 12,000 with the {A-Spades}{7-Spades}. Yevgeniy Timoshenko called from the big blind with the {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

The flop came down {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Timoshenko checked. Negreanu bet the minimum for 6,000 and Timoshenko raised to 18,000. Negreanu called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Negreanu picked up a flush draw now, but still held the worst hand. Both players checked.

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Timoshenko took his time before acting. He fired a bet of 39,000 and Negreanu instantly wanted to know the price. The dealer informed him of the amount and Negreanu called.

The two players turned over their hands and chopped up the pot, playing aces and deuces with a ten kicker.
