Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante

He showed {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} against the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} of Davenport.

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and Lewis made a straight to win the pot and secure the double up.

Maley Eliminates Wilson

Level 13 : 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Ronnie Wilson
Ronnie Wilson

Mike Maley and Ronnie Wilson got it all in preflop with the former at risk.

Mike Maley: {a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Ronnie Wilson: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Wilson came into the day with just 43,500 and was looking good for a double up until the flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Wilson would need running straight cards, running clubs, or a third jack to stay alive.

The {q-Hearts} hit the turn and the {10-Clubs} hit the river to bring Wilson's Southern Poker Open to an end.

Paul Fulmer Trending Up

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Paul Fulmer started the day with about 30,000 and was sitting all in for his final 44,000 after some previous action.

Philip Norton was next to act and called the 44,000. The next player shoved all in for 7,000 more and Norton called the rest.

Hands:
Fulmer: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Norton: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Player 3: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out {j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Fulmer held on to win the hand and bring his stack up to 155,000. Not bad considering two levelsl ago he was sitting with just 30,000.
