The final day of the Southern Poker Open by RunGood Events is upon us. After five Day 1 flights, 234 players will return to play down to a champion. Day 2 kicks off at noon local time in the Horseshoe Bossier City Riverdome facility.
A total of 1,138 players entered the event, creating a prize pool of $398,300. The top prize reserved for today's champion is $72,895, with 117 spots paid.
Huey Hulin sits atop the leaderboard as the action begins with 405,500. Wes Gauthier (308,000), Jim Harris (285,000), Gerald Kelley (279,500), and Bobby Barbier (267,000) round out the top five.
The schedule today includes a 15-minute break every three levels, with a 45-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 21 (approximately 5pm).
