There are currently 14 players left in contention and there will be a re-draw at nine players with the official final table set at the final eight.

Cards are in the air at 12 p.m. and they will play down to a winner who will be crowned the 2017 German Poker Champion and will be awarded a beautiful trophy and a handsome €200,000.

From under the gun, Gerald Karlic moved all in for 1.9 million and Albert Skobelev three-bet the cutoff to force everyone else out.

Karlic was drawing very thin, but picked up some outs on the flop. However, the turn and river blanked and Karlic was eliminated in 13th place for €8,000.
Philipp Zukernik opend for 2,500,000 with from the cut-off and Jonathan Wong moved all in from the button for 24,600,000 (20 bbs) with . That got Sonay Kehya in the small blind to lay down .
Ngoc Minh Hoangin the big blind gave it some thought but called with and Zukernik folded.

Wong made a gutsy move and couldn't hit so he was eliminated just short of the unofficial final table.
Sonay Kehya finished 7th in the partypoker Million Germany Main Event here in Rozvadov back in June this year, and reached the last table once more. However, this time the Dutchman had to settle for 9th place and a payday of €11,000.
