Kassai Comes Crashing Out
Table 32 just witnessed one of our first exits of the day.
Krisztian Kassai and Sascha Schönherr went to war on a flop, with Kassai putting in a check-raise to 62,000 before Schönherr clicked it back to 120,000. This proved to be an awkward raise size for Kassai's 250,000-chip stack, as he would need to commit himself should he want to continue with the hand.
After a little consideration, Kassai went with the shove and was called immediately by Schönherr's . As soon as he saw the bad news, Kassai's demeanor completed deflated, with someone else at the table asking, "do you have king queen?" Kassai indeed tabled and was drawing to running cards.
It was all over on the turn, as Kassai stood up the leave the tournament. He handed in his seat card at the cash desk, but unfortunately didn't make any additional money since being paid €250 at the end of Day 1.
