With the start of level 5, the opening day for this $10,300 High Roller is almost at the halfway mark and closing in on the $500,000 guarantee!
There have been 38 unique entries so far with no re-entries as of yet. The guarantee needs 12 more entries to get there, and with registration open until the end of the first level on Day 2 tomorrow, there is plenty of time.
Justin Ligeri and Ari Engel were the first players to be eliminated today, and Ryan Yu was the latest elimination. He was short after getting involved in a few big pots and eventually hit the rail early in the day.

Vojtech Ruzicka is fresh off a partypoker MILLION Nottingham High Roller win for £284,210/$355,859 and is looking to make it back-to-back wins! He also won the High Roller in Deauville back in 2013, so he is no stranger to the high stakes world.
Ruzicka boasts over $3,500,000 in live recorded cashes and has several deep runs, including a 5th place finish in the 2016 World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event for just shy of two million dollars. Look for Ruzicka to do some damage here today, as he has already delivered the first knockout of the day after busting Justin Ligeri with kings against his jacks.

Pascal Lefrancois is the next player to go as he was seen leaving the tournament area. Just before that, Ryan Yu was the first player to re-enter the tournament, and was sent back to the same table he was seated at previously.
Another addition to the field is Jonathan Jaffe, a recent High Roller winner last October at Maryland Live! Casino. Jaffe is also no stranger to the Playground Poker Club, as he won the World Poker Tour Main Event in the Fall of 2014. He looks to add another Canadian flag to his resume, so watch for him this week!
