It turned out to be a grueling 13-hour day but when all was said and done, it was all worth it for Roger Teska. The Caribbean Poker Party $25,500 MILLIONS World has wrapped up and Teska earned the victory along with a cool $2,000,000.

The high-stakes cash game regular defeated Steve O'Dwyer who is known as one of the best at heads-up play. "I definitely wasn't expecting to win coming into this (tournament)," Teska said in his winner's interview. "These guys know when to shove, what hands to shove with and I don't. Steve is a better player than I am so I wanted play bigger pots."

Teska hasn't played many tournaments in the past but admits that he enjoys testing his skills against some of the best in the game. This will definitely top his career-high score of $371,000 and Teska knows exactly what he's gonna do with his major payday. "There might be some partying for the next couple days."

Only nine players returned to the felt for the final day of competition with each of them guaranteed at least $250,000. Each elimination came with a pay jump and it was evident in the early going that ICM was a key factor. Paul Tedeschi stormed into the final day as the short stack but held the chip lead by the end of the first level.

It would take over three hours for the first bustout to occur and it was Joao Vieira to hit the rail first. Vieira eventually got his 17 big blind stack in the middle with pocket jacks but ran into the pocket aces of Tedeschi. Once the official final table of eight was formed, it didn't take long for Niall Farrell to get his chips in the middle as well. "Firaldo" finally picked up a pocket pair in the small blind but Teska held a larger pair in the big blind to eliminate Farrell in eighth place.

Also in the same level, Rainer Kempe found himself on a stack of under 20 big blinds. The German moved in with two Broadway cards but was dominated by the ace-jack of O'Dwyer. An ace came on the flop and Kempe was drawing dead by the turn, ending his day in seventh place. Six-handed play lasted for nearly two hours with the chip stacks fluctuating between all of the players. Ben Tollerene came into the day second in chips and even held the chip lead, but had a bad run of cards over the course of an hour. Tollerene lost a big flip to Teska and was forced all in for just a couple of big blinds in the next hand. He was unable to survive and disappointedly hit the rail in sixth place.

When the players were sent on a dinner break, there were only four players remaining. That was after Andras Nemeth built up a stack from five big blinds to second in chips. He then played a monster pot with O'Dwyer for the chip lead and the two players were flipping preflop. O'Dwyer out-flopped Nemeth's pocket pair and Nemeth was ousted in fifth place. O'Dwyer held a monster chip lead after the break and he was comfortable sitting back and watching the small stacks duke it out. Tedeschi and Teska elected to battle with pair vs pair preflop and the stacks nearly level. Teska came out on top which left Tedeschi on crumbs, and he was eliminated shortly after.

When three-handed play began, the chip stacks started to level out and it quickly became anyone's game. Charles La Boissonniere jumped out to the chip lead but it didn't take long for O'Dwyer to come roaring back. O'Dwyer started hitting every card in the deck and he built up a massive lead with over 300 million chips. When Teska shoved all in from the small blind with queen-seven, La Boissoniere called off his nine big blind stack with pocket nines. A queen on the flop gave Teska the lead and La Boissonniere was unable to recover as he was eliminated in third place for $1,000,000.

It was 3-to-1 chip lead for O'Dwyer at the start of heads-up play but an instant cooler leveled the match. Teska picked up pocket queens against O'Dwyer's pocket kings and hit a queen on the flop to score a double up. The chip lead swung back and forth a couple of times but the major turning point was when Teska caught O'Dwyer bluffing and earned himself a double up. The players took a quick break and Teska finished things off just a couple of hands later.

There is still plenty of more action to come your way from the Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas. The PokerNews live reporting team will be back tomorrow to bring you tournament coverage of the Main Event and the Super High Roller Championships so don't go anywhere.

In the last hand of the night, Steve O'Dwyer raised to 9 million on the button with {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Roger Teska moved all in with {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} in the big blind. O'Dwyer thought for a few seconds and then called off his stack of 126,000,000.

Teska was happy to see that he was flipping and the flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} gave him the lead with a pair of eights. The {q-Diamonds} on the turn left O'Dwyer drawing to just two outs. The river brought the {3-Clubs} and O'Dwyer was eliminated in second place.

La Boissonniere Eliminated; O'Dwyer Leads Going to Heads-Up

Level 37 : 1,500,000/3,000,000, 3,000,000 ante
Charles La Boissonniere
Charles La Boissonniere

There has been no stopping Steve O'Dwyer as of late as he has been just hitting every card in the deck that he needs. Charles La Boissonniere raised to 6.2 million on the button with {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and O'Dwyer just called with {q-Clubs}{10-Spades} in the small blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and both players checked to the {7-Clubs} on the turn.

O'Dwyer led out for 10 million with the stronger two pair and La Boissonniere called to see the {2-Clubs} on the river. O'Dwyer stuck in another bet of 26 million and La Boissonniere paid him off. O'Dwyer dragged in another pot to climb over 300 million and leave La Boissonniere on the short stack.

Just a few hands later, Roger Teska moved all in from the small blind with {q-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and La Boissonniere snap-called for 23.8 million with {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. The flop came {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} to give Teska the best hand after hitting a queen. The {8-Spades} on the turn gave La Boissonniere a straight draw but the {6-Hearts} bricked off as the Canadian finished in third place for $1,000,000.

Paul Tedeschi
Paul Tedeschi

Roger Teska doubled up through Paul Tedeschi in a sick cooler spot with both players holding premium pocket pairs preflop. Teska was able to pull out the win, leaving Tedeschi on crumbs.

With the action folded to Tedeschi in the small blind, he moved all in with {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Steve O'Dwyer called in the big with {k-Spades}{7-Hearts}, holding two live cards. The flop of {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} favored O'Dwyer with a pair of sevens. The turn was the {10-Spades} and the river brought the {3-Diamonds} to send Tedeschi home in fourth place.

The remaining three players are all guaranteed to take home at least $1,000,000 but there is still plenty to play for. Teska has moved into second place and narrowed the gap on O'Dwyer, making it anyone's game from here.

O'Dwyer Leads the Final Four Into Dinner Break

Level 34 : 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer

It wasn't long after Andras Nemeth eliminated Ben Tollerene, that he found himself with the second largest stack of the remaining five players. He built his stack up from just five big blinds and had put himself in a great position for a seven-figure payday.

However, after Steve O'Dwyer raised to 3.7 million with {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}, Nemeth shipped all in for 71.5 million with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. O'Dwyer made the call and the two players were in a massive flip for the chip lead. The dealer fanned the flop of {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} to give O'Dwyer the best hand with a pair of aces. The {q-Clubs} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} on the river changed nothing as Nemeth was eliminated in fifth place.

It was a somewhat cautious approach heading into the dinner break for the three shorter stacks. O'Dwyer holds well over half of the chips in play and is well on his way to another Super High Roller victory.

Ben Tollerene Heads to the Rail in 6th Place

Ben Tollerene
Ben Tollerene

Ben Tollerene came into the day second in chips and even held the chip lead not long ago. However, the past hour or so has been a rough time for Tollerene at the felt. He recently raised to 3.5 million in from the hijack with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and was called by Charles La Boissonniere with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Paul Tedeschi with {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Roger Teska was in the big blind with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and moved all in for 29.3 million. Tollerene re-shoved for a little more which got the other two players to fold.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Tollerene remained in the lead with the only pair. The {6-Diamonds} on the turn improved Tollerene to a straight but Teska picked up a flush draw. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Teska made his flush to leave Tollerene with only 5 million behind. In the next hand, Tollerene was all in but was unable to connect with the board as he exited in sixth place.

Andras Nemeth

Charles La Boissonniere has remained relatively quiet throughout the day but has been slowly chipping his way up through the field. In a recent pot, the French Canadian turned a straight against Andras Nemeth's pair with a straight and flush draw. The river bricked off but La Boissonniere still got value when Nemeth called with second pair.

Nemeth was down to just 7.7 million and moved all in from under the gun with {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Ben Tollerene called on his left with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and the two players were off to the races. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Nemeth was able to double up to a little over 10 big blinds.

Steve O'Dwyer raised it up to 2.5 million in middle position with {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Rainer Kempe was on the button with {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Kempe moved all in for around 12 big blinds for 15.6 million and the blinds folded. O'Dwyer happily made the call and was in a dominating position.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} giving O'Dwyer a pair of aces and a stranglehold on the hand. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and Kempe stood up from his chair as he was already drawing dead. The insignificant river was the {k-Spades} and Kempe headed to the payout desk in seventh place.

The action folded to Steve O'Dwyer on the button who made it 2.6 million with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Niall Farrell was down to just eight big blinds and moved all in for 10.5 million with {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. Roger Teska woke up with {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} in the big blind and re-shoved all in which forced O'Dwyer out of the hand.

Farrell was at risk and needed a lot of help heading to the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop. The turn brought the {10-Diamonds} leaving Farrell drawing to just a deuce. The river was the {q-Diamonds} and Farrell was eliminated in eighth place. He will take home $300,000 for his efforts and just seven players remain.

Paul Tedeschi opened to 2.5 million in middle position with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Joao Vieira looked down at the {j-Spades}{j-Hearts} in the hijack. Vieira struggled to pick up any hands thus far and was sitting on around 16 big blinds. He shoved all in for 17.5 million and Tedeschi quickly called when the action was back on him.

The flop fell {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} which provided no help to Vieira who was looking to hit a jack. The {a-Hearts} on the turn gave Tedeschi top set and Vieira was left drawing dead to the {10-Spades} on the river. While Vieira was not happy with a ninth-place finish, the $250,000 in his pocket is a nice consolation prize.
