Markus Prinz Eliminated in 6th Place ($175,000)

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Markus Prinz
Markus Prinz

Markus Prinz got his remaining 4 million or so in preflop with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} but ran into a dominating {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} held by [Removed:150]. The {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} didn't help Prinz but he picked up a bit of equity on the {a-Spades} turn. The {a-Clubs} river missed him, though, and he headed off with his buddies who were railing to collect a payout.

Sorel Mizzi Eliminated in 5th Place ($225,000)

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Sorel Mizzi
Sorel Mizzi

Sorel Mizzi raised and called a shove of 5,975,000 from big blind Talal Shakerchi. Shakerchi showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and dominated Mizzi's {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. The {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs} left the nines best and Mizzi sent over all but his last 1.5 million or so.

That went in shortly thereafter with {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and he was ahead against Sean Winter's {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. The flop was safe for Mizzi but Winter turned a seven to finish him off.

Talal Shakerchi Eliminated in 4th Place ($299,000)

Talal Shakerchi

Talal Shakerchi got all in for about 7.5 million on the button with {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and was racing against the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Sean Winter. The {5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} board favored the latter with trip kings.

"Good game, Talal," Winter said.

"You too."

Afterward, Ali Imsirovic, who laddered with 10 big blinds, admitted he was pleased with the outcome.

Ali Imsirovic

Ali Imsirovic played a large pot with [Removed:150] wherein the latter raised in the small blind and bet 4 million on a {j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop. He then jammed the {a-Clubs} turn and a disgusted Imsirovic folded.

On the next hand, Imsirovic shoved from the small blind for 6.1 million. Sean Winter considered briefly then called, causing Imsirovic to grimace before turning over {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Winter had the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and the {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} board did nothing for Imsirovic, who took his leave in third.

Iadisernia Takes the Lead

Level 25 : 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante

[Removed:150] took the lead in a raised pot where he and Sean Winter checked to the turn on {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Iadisernia checked, Winter bet 1.7 million and Iadisernia jammed for 17.1 million. Winter called with {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and had a big edge against {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. However a {q-Spades} river cost him the pot and the opportunity to win the tournament.

Winter would double back with {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} against {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}, turning the nut flush all in preflop, and the two are about even.
