Bicknell Doubles Through Yoon

Level 18 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Kristen Bicknell three-bet all in for 6,700,000 and Brian Yoon made the call. Players tabled their hands and Bicknell would be the player at risk of elimination.

Kristen Bicknell: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Brian Yoon: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The flop ran out {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and Bicknell was still ahead with her kings. The {5-Clubs} on the turn and {8-Clubs} on the river did not improve Yoon's hand as Bicknell got the double up.

Level 18 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Martin Jacobson
Martin Jacobson

Taylor Black opened to 350,000 from early position and Martin Jacobson flat-called on the button. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Black led out for 300,000. Jacobson made the call and the {k-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn.

Black checked this time and Jacobson fired out a bet of 800,000. Black stuck around to see the {10-Diamonds} on the river and checked one more time. Jacobson announced a bet of 2,100,000 as he slid a stack of chips into the middle. Black burned through one of his time extensions before releasing his cards to the muck.

Daniel Strelitz opened to 400,000 from the hijack and was called by Stephen Diamantas in the cutoff and Andjelko Andrejevic in the small blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and the action checked around to Diamantas who bet 500,000. Andrejevic check-raised all in for 3,200,000 and Strelitz got out of the way. Diamantas made the call and the action was halted until all other hands were finished.

When the players flipped over their cards, Diamantas flipped over {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} while Andrejevic showed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river brought the {7-Spades}. Andrejevic was unable to overcome Diamantas' flopped two pair and was eliminated on the money bubble. Fortunately for Andrejevic, there was another elimination in the room as Ardavan Yazdi was also eliminated. The two players split a min-cash and each received $5,000.

Dentale Playing "Solid" Poker

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

With the flop reading {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Kevin Rivest led out for 675,000 into a pot of around 1,500,000. Mike Dentale raised to 2,000,000 in position and when the action was back on Rivest, he moved all in. Dentale used up three of his time extensions before finally making the call.

Mike Dentale: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Kevin Rivest: {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Dentale was ahead but needed to dodge an ace or a heart to stay alive. The turn brought the {q-Clubs} giving Dentale a set of queens and the river landed the {10-Diamonds}. Rivest missed his draw and doubled up Dentale who of course had something to say.

"Everyone knows me, I play solid. You can't win a tournament if you don't play solid."
