Loeser, Aldemir and Yaroshevskyy All Gone

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Koray Aldemir Among Big Name Casualties Just Before the Bubble
Koray Aldemir Among Big Name Casualties Just Before the Bubble

Igor Yaroshevskyy, Koray Aldemir and Manig Loeser participated in the Triton High Roller events and they have something else in common: They just busted before the money when being all in at the same time on three different tables.

Yaroshevskyy had pushed for 3.375 million from the button and Niall Farrell looked him up out of the small blind.

Igor Yaroshevskyy: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Niall Farrell: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}

The board came {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Yaroshevskyy was the first to go. One table over, Aldemir was awaiting his fate after he had three-bet all in for 2.435 million after a raise by table neighbor Igor Kozhevnikov.

Koray Aldemir: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Igor Kozhevnikov: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

Despite flopping top pair, Aldemir still needed running outs as the flop came {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}. The {4-Hearts} turn ensured his elimination and that made the {2-Hearts} river a formality.

Last but not least, it was Loeser that had pushed all in for 1.050 million from the cutoff and it was Pavel Zuev that called on the button, the blinds folded.

Manig Loeser: {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Pavel Zuev: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Board: {6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}

Loeser, who cashed in the Triton Super High Roller tournament, earlier this week could not find the board he needed to survive and was sent to the rail just before the money spots.

Uspenskii and Chernokoz Clash

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Two big stacks collided on a big pot, but eventually there was no all in showdown. Picking up the action on the {J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, Konstantin Uspenskii had checked out of the big blind and Andrey Chernokoz continued for 500,000. Uspenskii check-raised to 1.575 million and picked up a call.

The {A-Spades} turn was checked through and the {Q-Diamonds} appeared on the river. Uspenskii used two time banks before checking and Chernokoz used one time bank before betting 2.5 million. That was the end of the drama, however, as Uspenskii folded.

One table over is another big stack from Russia and that happens to be partypoker ambassador Anatoly Filatov.

Action resumes on the stone cold money bubble.

Short Stack Babich Doubles on the Bubble

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The action folded around to Aleksandr Babich in the cutoff, and he moved all in for 970,000. Konstantin Uspenskii was on the button and called.

Aleksandr Babich: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Konstantin Uspenskii: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Board: {2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Babich didn't to hit on the board to prevent bubbling the Main Event, and the flop brought him no joy. The turn gave him additional outs with the flush draw, and the river queen of spades gave him top pair to secure a double on the clutches of defeat.

Farrell Calls Correctly

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

The board was down {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}, and Niall Farrell had seen Oleg Netaliev raise his 1.3m bet to 3.5m on the river.

"I have a good hand, but I don't think you are bluffing," said Farrel to the big stack Netaliev.

Farrell thought for another minute before he counted his chips and made the call.

Netaliev tabled {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} for two pair, but Farrell won the pot with a better two pair in the form of {a-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Konstantin Puchkov

Konstantin Puchkov moved all in for 1.35 million from early position and Oleksii Kravchuk repushed from the button for more than 4 million. Nikolay Evdokimov claimed after the hand he had folded ace-king in the big blind and that also happened to be the hand Puchkov revealed in the showdown.

Konstantin Puchkov: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Oleksii Kravchuk: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The board came {J-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Puchkov failed to improve, as a result he became the bubble boy of the Main Event here in Sochi.

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Arkadiy Stekolshchikov moved all in for the last 1.475 million and Martin Hogarty looked him up out of the big blind with the slightly superior stack.

Arkadiy Stekolshchikov: {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}
Martin Hogarty: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board came {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and the kicker played to eliminate Stekolshchikov.

Pilkington Doubles

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The action folded around to Jonas Kuznik in the cutoff, and he moved all in for around 3.5m. Niall Farrell folded on the button, as did the player in the small blind and with the action now on Jessica Pilkington in the big blind she went into the tank.

Pilkington, who had a stack of 2.7m behind her, needed to use two timebank cards before she decided to call.

Jonas Kuznik: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Jessica Pilkington: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

Board: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}

The flop gave her trips and all but sealed her double up which was confirmed as the board completed to no avail for Kuznik.

The Czech was left with just 400,000 chips but was able to find a treble up just a few hands later.
