Becker and Yaroshevskyy Eliminated; 10 Remain

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Igor Yaroshevskyy
Igor Yaroshevskyy

Ivan Leow opened to 11,000 in the hijack with the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Igor Yaroshevskyy three-bet to 40,000 on the button with the {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

The action switched over to the other table and revealed the shove of Wai Kin Yong first to act with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} for 55,500. Johannes Becker was all in for 29,500 with {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} in the cutoff and Patrik Antonius isolated in the small blind with the biggest stack and {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

The board came {8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Becker's stack was chopped up.

Back to the other table, Leow had called and the flop showed {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Leow check-called a bet of 33,000 and spiked the magic {6-Clubs} on the turn to check once again. Yaroshevskyy checked back and the {4-Spades} came on the river, which prompted Leow to move all in.

Yaroshevskyy had several time bank extensions left and called it off for his last 144,000 to bust out in a massive pot.

Chan Can't Find a Miracle

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Wai Leong Chan
Wai Leong Chan

Wai Leong Chan moved all in for just 13,000 with the {K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Ivan Leow three-bet to 25,000 in the cutoff with the {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

The {A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop immediately gave Leow top pair, and Chan was drawing dead on the {9-Diamonds}. That made the {4-Spades} river a formality and Chan was eliminated to reduce the field to the last 12 hopefuls.

Beh Flushed Away By Antonius

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Kok Weng Beh
Kok Weng Beh

Aymon Hata raised to 6,000 with the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and was called by Kok Weng Beh with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades} on the button and Patrik Antonius in the big blind with {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. The {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop was checked and Antonius bet the {6-Diamonds} turn for 13,000 after improving to a flush. Hata folded and Beh called.

The {A-Clubs} river brought a shove of Antonius for 77,700 and Beh had just 55,000 behind. He used some time extensions, but called it off to become the latest casualty and reduce the field to the last 13 hopefuls. Antonius jumped back to an above-average stack as a result.

Rush Hour for Troyanovskiy Sends Sinclair to the Rail

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Sinclair
Sinclair

Vladimir Troyanovskiy chipped up after besting Aleksandr Gofman with {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} versus {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} on a board of {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}{A-Hearts} and scooped a pot against Philipp Gruissem without showdown, holding {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

Then, Troyanovskiy raised to 5,400 with the {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} in the hijack and Gruissem three-bet to 16,000 with {K-Hearts}{7-Hearts} on the button. Jack Sinclair in the big blind four-bet to 36,000 with {10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Troyanovskiy used a time bank before moving all in for 97,100. Gruissem folded instantly and Sinclair called to find himself dominated in the showdown.

The board came {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and both players hit a set to see Sinclair bow out in spectacular fashion.

Richard Yong
Richard Yong

There are only 17 players remaining after the departure of Richard Yong on the outer table. The chips had gone in preflop by Yong on the button and Phua in the big blind had him comfortably covered.

Richard Yong: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Paul Phua: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

The {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop gave Phua a flush draw and he immediately filled up thanks to the {J-Hearts} turn to leave his fellow Triton Poker founder empty-handed.

Over on the outer tables, Igor Yaroshevskyy raised to 2,300 and Andrey Pateychuk three-bet to 6,500 on the button, Yaroshevskyy called. On the {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, Yaroshevskyy check-called a bet of 5,000 and did so again for 16,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn. The {4-Hearts} came on the river and Yaroshevskyy pushed all in.

Pateychuk used one time bank and called for around 35,000, but mucked when he was shown the {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the nut flush by Yarohevskyy.

Just prior to that, Paul Phua re-entered and sat down on the secondary feature table, while birthday boy Anatoly Filatov did so on the outer tables. The partypoker ambassador turned 30 years old today.
