Brooks and Purewal Trade Chips
The flop was down , and after Garinder Purewal checked from the small blind with 6m in the pot, Simon Brooks moved all in for around 24m. Purewal had a stack worth 32m and needed to think before he decided to call.
Brooks was ahead with pocket kings and Purewal had top pair on the flop. The turn and river were no help to Purewal, and he was left with 8.2m, as Brooks moved up to 50m.
But in the very next hand, Purewal was able to claim some of his lost chips from Brooks.
Purewal's all in from the button with was called by Brooks in the small blind with pocket fours.
There was an ace on the flop to give Purewal the lead, and he held to double up to 18m.
