His nearest rival is Armin Rezaei who bagged 21,030,000, while below him is Francois Billard (19,795,000), Dietrich Fast (18,895,000), Maurice Hawkins (18,810,000), and Santiago Plante (17,510,000). Still in the hunt include Sam Grafton, Will Givens, Bryn Kenney, Mike McDonald, Manig Loeser, Griffin Benger, Marc-Andre Ladouceur, Upeshka De Silva, Tony Ruberto, Sergio Aido, and partypoker pro Joni Jouhkimainen.

"We're Gonna Tangle All Day!"

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Ruben Perceval
Ruben Perceval

Will Givens raised it up to 400,000 on the button and Ruben Perceval called from the big blind. The flop came {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Perceval checked to Givens who continued for 315,000. Perceval check-raised to 1,050,000 and Givens called.

The turn was the {6-Spades} and Perceval put out a small bet of 675,000. Givens still called and the river was the {4-Spades}. Perceval used a time extension before tapping the table. Givens quickly checked back and Perceval rolled over {3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a straight.

"Damn!" Givens said in disappointment. "You wanna tangle eh? We're gonna tangle all day."

"It's gonna be a long day," Perceval said with a smile.

Cedrick Angove-Bernier found himself all in from the small blind for 2,750,000 against Olivier Rebello-Frechette in middle position.

Angove-Bernier: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Rebello-Frechette: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

With Angove-Bernier at-risk, and the crowd gathered around the table, the dealer spread the {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} board to send Angove-Bernier out in 64th place as the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS North America Main Event bubble boy.

The remaining 63 players are all guaranteed a CA$20,000 payday.

Lam Runs Into Aces

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Andrew Lam
Andrew Lam

Just moments after the bubble burst, Andrew Lam shipped all in for 1,565,000 in the hijack and David Cowling also pushed all in from the small blind. Lam was the short stack and found himself in need of some help.

Cowling: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Lam: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} to give Lam a straight draw but the {2-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Hearts} on the river would not help his cause.

Loeser Eliminated by McDonald's Two-Outer

Level 21 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Action folded to Manig Loeser in the cutoff, and he raised to 320,000. Mike McDonald three-bet next to act from the button to 1,050,000.

Once the blinds passed, Loeser responded by cutting out a four-bet totaling 3,300,000.

McDonald stared at Loeser and was forced to use a time extension chip before announcing he was all in for 11,735,000. Loeser re-checked his hole cards, then called all in for 10,830,000.

Loeser: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
McDonald: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The German was in great shape to double with his bigger pocket pair until the dealer spread the {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop to thrust McDonald into the lead.

Loeser now needed to find his own two-outer or a combination of runner-runner straight cards to stay alive.

The turn and river inevitably fell the {4-Diamonds} and {4-Spades} and Loeser was eliminated in 58th place for a CA$20,000 payday.

Neilson Bows Out to Jouhkimainen

Level 23 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Daniel Neilson
Daniel Neilson

Santiago Plante opened to 550,000 in middle position and Michael Farrow three-bet to 1,650,000 in the cutoff. Daniel Neilson four-bet shoved all in for 3,800,000 on the button only to have Joni Jouhkimainen five-bet shove over the top. Plante and Farrow quickly folded and the two hands were tabled.

Jouhkimainen: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Neilson: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Neilson was unfortunate to run into a bigger hand than his and would need a lot of help to stay alive. The flop of {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} was not looking good for him but the {3-Spades} on the turn gave him a flush draw. The {6-Hearts} paired the board on the river and Jouhkimainen made a full house to eliminate Neilson
