MILLIONS North Cyprus $2,200 Warm-Up
Day 1b Started
The partypoker LIVE MILLIONS tour is back in the live poker arena and the second day of the festival at the five-star Merit Crystal Cove Hotel Casino & Spa in Girne, North Cyprus, will feature two starting days of the $2,200 Warm Up. Day 1b is scheduled to commence at noon local time whereas the first of two turbo heats then kicks off in the evening at 9.30 pm local time.
Yesterday's first of four flights attracted a field of 121 entries and 52 players made it through. Day 1b is expected to be bigger than that and many of those that took a shot and failed to bag and tag will be back in action. The tournament is already certain to easily surpass the $500,000 guarantee after the promising start one day ago.
Leading the field thus far after the first flight is Turkish player Muharrem Atsiz with 604,500, followed by Yasen Dichev (549,400) as the only player above half a million in chips.
The last flight with a regular level duration of 60 minutes will feature eight levels and the participants receive 100,000 in chips. There will be a short break every two levels and players can then still enjoy the excellent hospitality at Merit with a free buffet available. All those that don't make it through can take their shot on the turbo heats 1c in the evening or 1d prior to the start of Day 2 on Saturday, September 18.
