Gulseven Takes From Nanartavicius

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Heads-up to the {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, Erdal Gulseven checked in the big blind and Mantas Nanartavicius bet 225,000 on the button. Gulseven check-raised to 590,000 and Nanartavicius gave him a stare down before making the call.

Gulseven bet the {2-Diamonds} turn for 640,000 and forced a fold from fellow big stack Nanartavicius

Macalou Leaves Pyzara Short

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Artur Martirosian raised and earned three callers including Silma Macalou and Kacper Pyzara in the blinds. The {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop was checked to Macalou, who bet 250,000. Only Pyzara called and he then checked again the {8-Spades} turn. Macalou bet 265,000 for Pyzara to check-raise to 1 million total, earning a call by the Frenchman.

Pyzara then checked the {3-Spades} river and Macalou bet 500,000 into the large pot. The tank-call by his opponent followed and Macalou rolled over {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the nut flush to scoop the large pot.

Dinner Break With 29 Remaining

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Navid Samavati jammed for the last eight big blinds and {k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} from under the gun. Johan Guilbert made the call with pocket nines and hit a nine right in the window to leave his opponent drawing dead on the turn.

One table over, Fadi Alakzam bet the {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} flop and {2-Clubs} turn for 155,000, which Kasparas Klezys called. Alakzam bet the {8-Clubs} river for 350,000 and Klezys raised to 900,000. A reluctant fold by Alakzam followed and he exposed the {5-Hearts} by sheer chance, Klezys returned the favour and flashed the {8-Diamonds}.

The remaining 29 players are now on a 45-minute dinner break.

Pyzara Eliminated by Hanna

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Kacper Pyzara
Kacper Pyzara

Kacper Pyzara jammed his short stack in with the blinds coming very soon and he was looked up by Georges Hanna from one seat over.

Kacper Pyzara: {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Georges Hanna: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The suited overcard found no help on the {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board and Pyzara departed in 29th place.

Fabian Cracks Kings to Double

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Stefan Fabian clashed with Gregoire Auzoux as he got the stack of 1.53 million in only to get snapped off by his table neighbour.

Stefan Fabian: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Gregoire Auzoux: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades} flop was about as good as it could get for Fabian, who had little to fear on the {5-Clubs} turn and {10-Clubs} river.

Ciudaras Jams Up the Stack

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Johan Guilbert forfeited a small portion of his stack when he folded the {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades} turn to a bet worth 650,000 by Viktor Ustimov.

The same table then featured the three-bet shove by Karolis Ciudaras and Zorlu Er folded a king, he was shown the {a-Hearts}.

"Abdel Chadli" Eliminated by Er

Level 25 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

"Abdel Chadli" jammed his short stack from the button and was called by Zorlu Er in the big blind.

"Abdel Chadli": {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Zorlu Er: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

The {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop gave "Abdel Chadli" a pair but the {4-Hearts} turn and {8-Hearts} river improved Er to an eight-high straight. At almost the same time, there was a birthday celebration right in front of the poker room. There were two bangs to celebrate and the second bang at the table saw Musa Barindik depart in 27th place right before the table broke.
