Evianwater1 Hits the Showers on a Set Over Set Cooler

Level 22 : 3,500,000/7,000,000, 875,000 ante

"Evianwater1" jammed from the cutoff for under 12 big blinds leaving himself just 10 chips behind and got a call from "GangbaaangBob" from the hijack.

Flop: {K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

"Evianwater1" checked the flop before "GangbaaangBob" bet nearly 81 million more than covering his opponents 10 chips. "Evianwater1" let his time bank go down with a payout jump looming before he called with a set holding {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}.

It was a bit of a cooler for "Evianwater1" as "GangbaaangBob" also flopped a set with {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. "Evianwater1" was unable to get his one outer or to get two diamonds to flush the board after the {2-Clubs} came on the turn and the {k-Spades} came on the river.

While "Evianwater1" didn't get his or her pay jump, this player did walk away with a healthy 17th prize of $109,175. The remaining 16 players are now seated on two tables and are all guaranteed a payout of at least $136,469.

Kruk Eliminates Kornuth

Level 20 : 2,500,000/5,000,000, 625,000 ante

With the board reading {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts} and 286 million already in the pot, Christopher "Ad_Finem" Kruk open-jammed for 237 million, which more than covered the 138 million Chance "ChanceSeeYou" Kornuth had remaining in his stack.

Kornuth tanked for a couple of minutes before he called with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for top pair. He was eliminated in 22nd place for $88,881 after his opponent turned over {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} for an overpair. After the hand, "Kruk catapulted into the chip lead for the first time today.

Shortly after, "xxAYADxx" was eliminated in 21st place for $88,881.
