There are now 197 entries in The Grand with just under an hour to go in registration. Ivan Sakharov has taken over the chip lead with a bit more than 3.8 million, while Niklas Åstedt is second with just under 3.7 million. Isaac Haxton, Jaime Staples, and Patrick Leonard are all in the mix in this one representing partypoker as well, wih Leonard currently on a top 20 stack.

The Weekender Final Day is underway after just barely missing the guarantee. They collected $99,900 through the Day 1s, so the operator only has to add $100 to the prize pool to hit the guarantee. The other half of the Brothers' Staples, Matt, is sitting with just over 1 million chips at the moment while "Mr.falcon" leads the way with more than 2.5 million.

The Sunday 500 is up to 157 entries now, so is just over $20,000 away from the guarantee. "lllIIII" still leads with more than 2.25 million chips now. Leonard appears to be the only partypoker representative in the mix in this one.

McLaren Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo knows what it's like to operate at peak performance. Both he and his car need to operate at the outer limits of their ability on race day to stand a chance of winning, or even making it to the end of the race. But every poker player has experienced some proverbial version of those when they lose control and don't know when to take a break to fix the machinery.

"Only when we're in control are we in charge of our own race," Ricciardo in a recent video. "It's sometimes important to hold back, take a break and take stock. It's important to know when it's time to pit."

There is less than 30 minutes left in registration for both The Grand and The Sunday 500. The Grand has blown past its guarantee now with almost $230,000 in prizes so far. The SUnday 500 is still a little short of its guarantee, with about $91,000 collected so far.

"lllIIII" still leads the way in The Sunday 500 with $500 in bounties now and almost 2.3 million chips. Ivan Sakharov is still on the biggest stack in The Grand with more than 6 million.

The Weekender Final Day is down to under 100 players left, with just 97 at the tables at the break. "Mr.falcon" is still leading with $250 in bounties and nearly 3.3 million chips.

"Mr.falcon" has more than 6 million chips in The Weekender Final Table, with their closest competitor sitting at just below 4 million. "Mr.falcon" also has $630 in bounties, which looks like the most bounties in the game right now. There are just 57 players left in that one, but streamer Matt Staples is no longer one of them. He bowed out in 72nd place for $135 plus $168 in bounties, while his brother Jaime Staples also cashed in this one for almost $180 in combined winnings.

The Grand ended up with nearly 25% extra in the prize pool above the $200,000 guarantee with 247 entries. That put $245,494 into the middle to play for and 39 players dividing that up. Tomi Brouk from Finland has taken over the lead with almost 8 million, but Ivan Sakharov is close behind with just over 7 million. There are 76 players left in the game.

The Sunday 500 topped out at 188 entries today, so they didn't quite hit the guarantee with $94,000 collected from the entries, "SovseFlemming99" leads the way with almost 4.4 million chips and $750 in bounties, and 34 players are expected to share in the prizes. There is $8,368 up top for the win in this one, and a minimum cash is worth $589.

The Grand is down to 56 remaining with Dominik Nitsche sitting behind the biggest stack at almost 10 million, There will only be 39 paid spots in this one, so they are still some way from the money. Action is in Level 16 with blinds at 60,000/120,000/15,000. Top prize in The Grand is nearly $50,000 today, so players will be salivating over it.

The Sunday 500 is down to 39 players left with action in Level 16 and blinds at 30,000/60,000/7,500. "Tom_Poker_NL" is the current leader with more than 6.3 million and more than $800 in bounties. They are just 5 away from the money now, with the minimum cash set at $589.
