The Daily Legends tournaments at partypoker have proven to be hugely popular thanks to their player-friendly formats. partypoker has slashed the late registration period, limited re-entries, and devised a structure that allows players to head to bed at a reasonable time without turning the tournament into a crap shoot.

Now is the time to try out some of those Daily Legends tournaments because partypoker has launched its Legend of the Week promotion that adds $60,000 worth of value to its Daily Legends schedule every week.

Legend of the Week sees you earn points for playing in selected Daily Legends tournaments from Monday through Saturday. Points are awarded for playing the eligible tournaments, but you earn far more by reaching a final table or by going all the way and becoming a Daily Legends champion.

Final Tables for The Weekender and The Sunday 500

Both The Weekender and The Sunday 500 hit the final table at the same time. The seven-handed Sunday 500 FT quickly dropped to six remaining, while there are still nine players left in The Weekender.

Just 20 Left in The Gladiator

The field is dropping fast in The Gladiator with just 20 players left in action. "I_Bigun32" has more than 10 million chips at the top of the list, with "CapnCook" in second with 9.7 million. On The Weekender FT, they are still playing nine-handed, while The Sunday 500 FT is down to three left after the eliminations of "Juffin Halley", "D0nkey", and "0txarkooagrrr".

Meanwhile, they are down to 17 left The 300, but Matthew Staples is no longer among them. The younger half of the Staples Brothers booked a cash, but ended in 35th for $318. The One Shot is down to 48 left with player getting paid $149 on the way out.

partypoker Adds New Hot Tables Stakes; Max Prize Now $1,000

partypoker launched its Hot Tables feature on April 11 and it has proven extremely popular thus far. Even more of the site’s cash game and fastforward players can experience the excitement of being at a Hot Table thanks to partypoker adding three new stakes to the roster.

There are now seven different stakes where Hot Tables can trigger courtesy of partypoker adding $0.01/$0.02, $0.02/$0.05, and $1/$2 cash games and fastforward tables to the feature. Trigger one of the Hot Tables at the $1/$2 tables, hit the biggest prize, and $1,000 is all your in addition to the pot you win.

"CapnCook" Takes Lead in The Gladiator with 16 Left; "jcm_1995" Leads Heads-Up in Sunday 500

"jcm_1995" Leads Heads Up in The Sunday 500

"CapnCook" has taken over the lead with more than 12 million chips in The Gladiator as the field is down to 16 left. "I_Bigun23" is in second with 9.3 million.

Action is heads up in The Sunday 500 after "Oida..." ended their run in 3rd place. "jcm_1995" has the lead with more than 45 million chips to 23 million for "Cavenaghi".

They are still eight-handed at The Weekender final table with "HITER" still the runaway leader. The One Shot is down to 37 left now, while just 13 remain in The 300.

Down to Four Left in The Weekender as The Gladiator and The 300 Approach FTs

A few quick eliminations has the field down to four in The Weekender, and "HITER" has more than thee times as many chips as second place. It is still heads-up in The Sunday 500, but "Cavenaghi" has taken over the lead, playing about 46 million against 21 million.

The Gladiator is down to just 11 players left, while The 300 is down to 10 left. Even The One Shot is getting down to the business end now, with just 28 players left.

"jcm_1995" is the Champion of The Sunday 500

The topsy-turvy heads-up battle in The Sunday 500 is finally over. "jcm_1995" came into heads-up play with a big chip lead, but "Cavenaghi" chipped back into it and took the lead. They bounced back and forth a couple times, but ultimately the starting chip leader ended up taking it down.

"jcm_1995" earned more than $10,000 in bounties in addition to the $6,263 first place prize.
