It's time for another big Sunday of action on partypoker. This weekend is a bit slower than usual, as the World Cup of Cards ended last week, leaving just the regular games on the schedule today. Of course, the games this week will have to compete with the final match in Euro 2020, as England and Italy battle it out for European football supremacy.
On-deck on the virtual felt today are $60,000 The Gladiator, as well as The Weekender Final Day, The One Shot, The Sunday 500, and The 300, all with $50,000 guaranteed. All five games on the radar today are bounty events, so look for lots of action as players try to grab those knockouts.

The Gladiator and Sunday 500 Set to Go
Action in partypoker Sunday LIVE is about to begin on the tables, as the first two feature events of the day are about to kick off. The Gladiator is a $55 PKO with $60,000 guaranteed, while The Sunday 500 is a $530 PKO with $50,000 guaranteed as well.

Prize Pools Growing in The Gladiator and The Sunday 500
Despite competition from the finals of Euro 2020, the prize pools are growing nicely in the Sunday events so far. The Gladiator is more than 2/3rds of the way to hitting its guarantee with almost $45,000 in prizes already, while The Sunday 500 has collected $31,000 already.
Pedro Fernandes Wins partypoker World Cup of Cards Main Event
Last week, the World Cup of Cards came to an end with an epic Main Event battle. When they got to Day 2 on July 5, they just capped the $1 million guarantee with $1,008,000 in total prizes.
The Main Event played out over the next three days as they whittled the field down from 151 Day 2 runners to a winner on July 8. In the end, all the chips ended up in front of Brazilian Pedro Fernandes.
Fernandes cut a deal heads up with second place player Mikhail Mikheev that left the Brazilian winner with more than $150,000 when the dust settled. Austrian Christian Rudolph bagged a third place score worth more than $79,000.

The Gladiator Busts Guarantee Before First Break
If there was ever a worry that the Euro 2020 final would cut into the action on Sunday, The Gladiator is proving it wrong. Before the first break has even begun, there are more than 1,250 entries recorded for the $55 event, meaning the prize pool is now at more than $62,000 and growing. There are still more than 30 minutes of late registration left, so that prize pool will only get bigger.
The Sunday 500 is also doing well so far today. While that game hasn't quite hit its guarantee yet, 86 entries already means they've collected more than $43,000 of the $50,000 guarantee already, with more than an hour left in late registration.
Coming up at the top of the hour will be the other three games we are following today on Sunday LIVE. The Final Day of the Weekender starts with 37 players left and more than $5,700 up top for the winner. The One Shot and The 300 also get cards in the air at the top of the hour, so stay tuned through the day for updates on the action.

Total entries on The Sunday 500 just ticked over the 100 mark, meaning the prize pool is now growing beyond the $50,000 guarantee. With more than an hour left to get into the game, the current $51,000 in the prize pool is only the beginning.
Meanwhile, with just under half an hour left to get into The Gladiator, the prize pool there is up to more than $72,000. Action is just underway in three more $50,000 guaranteed events PokerNews is watching today. The Final Day has just begun in The Weekender with almost $5,800 up top for the winner, while The One Shot and The 300 are both closing in on half their guarantees in collected prizes early in the games.
