Leonard Reenters The High Roller Big Game

Brynjar Gigja raised to 39,600 from under the gun and Jonah Silverstein made the call from the middle position. partypoker Ambassador Patrick Leonard three-bet shoved for 353,584 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Gigja who four-bet shoved for more for Silverstein to get out of their way.

Brynjar Gigja: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Patrick Leonard: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for Leonard to hit top pair but for Gigja to stay ahead with the pair of kings.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} which didn't help Leonard and neither did the {k-Spades} on the river as Gigja improved to a set to bust Leonard who reentered immediately and got the same seat back.

The High Roller Big Game: $250K Gtd Update

The board read {4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades} when partypoker Ambassador Isaac Haxton shoved from the small blind with the bigger stack for Pascal Hartmann to make the call from the early position with the slightly shorter stack. Haxton tabled the {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for two pair but Hartmann held the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for the royal flush to score the big double-up to leave Haxton short.

Will You Become partypoker’s Legend of the Week?

Legend of the Week
Legend of the Week

The Daily Legends tournaments at partypoker have proven to be hugely popular thanks to their player-friendly formats. partypoker has slashed the late registration period, limited re-entries, and devised a structure that allows players to head to bed at a reasonable time without turning the tournament into a crap shoot.

Now is the time to try out some of those Daily Legends tournaments because partypoker has launched its Legend of the Week promotion that adds $60,000 worth of value to its Daily Legends schedule every week.

Legend of the Week sees you earn points for playing in selected Daily Legends tournaments from Monday through Saturday. Points are awarded for playing the eligible tournaments, but you earn far more by reaching a final table or by going all the way and becoming a Daily Legends champion.
