Alex "Hashtag_Hashtag" Rocha Claims Final Title of End Boss Poker Series New Jersey

On Saturday, "The End Boss Poker Series" in New Jersey wrapped up with the $215 buy-in Event #7: $25K GTD Second Chance 8-Max, which surpassed its guarantee as 170 entrants created a $34,000 prize pool.

The top 24 finishers got paid, but BetMGM Ambassador Darren "Darren_Elias" Elias was not one of them as he exited in 34th place. Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo, Ryan “TheSims” Hohner (15th - $425), Dan “mj23style” Sewnig ((14th - $425), and Mike “MistaMenza” Menzer (11th - $544).

The final table was a stacked affair and the final three were comprised of three of New Jersey's best. David "TheKing411" Coleman wound up falling in third place for $2,944, which left Alex "Hashtag_Hashtag" Rocha and Jason "Riverman" Lawhun to battle heads-up. After 7 hours and 21 minutes of play, Rocha came out on top to win the title and $8,156 top prize.

Shankar “burgerssss” Pillai Wins End Boss New Jersey Main Event ($42,942)

On Saturday, "The End Boss Poker Series" continued in New Jersey with the $1,060 buy-in Event #6: $150K GTD Main Event 8-Max, a tournament that attracted 179 runners. That surpassed the guarantee by creating a $179,000 prize pool that was paid out to the top 24 finishers.

Unfortunately for BetMGM Ambassador Darren "Darren_Elias" Elias, for whom the series is named after, he was unable to get anything going and exited empty-handed in 51st place. Similarly, Keith "ClarkWesterfeld" Donovan failed to make any money by busting on the bubble in 25th place.

Among those to finish in the money but fall short of the final table were Michael "Gags30" Gagliano (21st - $1,668.28), Anthony “Flawliesbinkage” Maio (20th - $1,849.07), Angel "chromeking" Lopez (15th - $2,237.50), Ross “Thehebrewhammer” Gottleib (13th - $2,237.50), Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo (12th - $2,864), and Dan “mj23style” Sewnig (10th - $2,864).

John "Slapshot1085" Forlenza Makes Back-to-Back End Boss Final Tables in New Jersey

On Friday, players in the Garden State State competed in "The End Boss Poker Series" $215 buy-in Event #4: $15K GTD Freezeout 8-Max NLH, which drew 77 entrants who generated a $15,400 prize pool paid out to the top 10 finishers. BetMGM Ambassador Darren "Darren_Elias" Elias didn't even come close to the money in this particular event after busting in 43rd place.

After "SLHalper13" busted on the bubble in 11th place, two more had to go before the final table was set. Those wound up being "Lanfeust" and "imperator3", who fell in 10th and 9th place respectively for $355.74 apiece.

For the second night in a row,John "Slapshot1085" Forlenza was at the final table, but his quest at his first "End Boss" title came to an end in sixth place, good for $870.10.
