The partypoker US Network Progressive Knockout (PKO) Bounty Online Series starts today and kicking off the festivities is Event #1: LearnWPT $40k GTD 6-Max NLH Bounty at 5 p.m. EST. This marks the first “LearnWPT” event in the new “For the Player” partnership between the company and partypoker US.
The two companies have teamed up to make poker education more accessible to online poker players. The program is dedicated to helping players have more fun by learning poker strategies and developing their own style of play. Team LearnWPT will provide in-depth strategy content for PKOs leading up to the event and analysis of key hands across social.
The series is open to everybody in the state of New Jersey across the three platforms of partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker.
All players will begin the first event of the series with 100,000 in chips with unlimited reentries until the end of level 18. Blinds will go up every 12-minutes and there will be a break every hour at 55-minutes past.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be bringing all of the live coverage as this tournament unfolds, so stay tuned.
The cards are now hitting the virtual felt in the first partypoker US Network Online PKO Series.

The blinds were 250/500 when "ScarletRaptor" opened to 1,250 from the button and Kevin “sofcknsick” Campbell three-bet in the big blind for a total of 4,250. "ScarletRaptor" called and a flop landed on the board.
Campbell continued for 3,365 and "ScarletRaport" called to see the turn card. Campbell again fired, this time for 12,022 and "ScarletRaptor" swiftly let go of their hand, sending the pot to Campbell.

The blinds were 600/1,200 and the turned board showed . "mrnissan50" checked to "ScarletRaptor" who bet 5,300 and"mrnissan50" instantly check-raised to 20,148.
"ScarletRaptor" called and a completed the board. "mrnissan50" shoved and "ScarletRaptor" called for less, putting in their 56,000 stack.
"ScarletRaptor" tabled for a pair of kings but it was not enough when "mrnissan50" tabled , giving them a set of sailboats to take down the pot and get the bounty of "ScarletRaptor" who rebought soon after.

On blinds of 600/1,200 "borecz11199" opened to 2,400 from the hijack, Katie "KatieStone" Stone defended her big blind and a flop landed on the virtual felt. Action checked to "borecz11199" who bet 3,075 and Stone check-called to see a turn card.
Both players checked through to the river card where Stone led out for 13,200 and "borecz11199" then shoved for a total of 62,650. Stone let her hand go and "borecz11199" took down the pot without showing a card.
