Congratulations to James ‘Bagels’ Lillis, Winner of Event #6: $20K GTD PKO 6-Max Bounty for $7,397
The partypoker US Network Progressive Knockout (PKO) Bounty Online Series has just seen another event come to an end and another champion has been crowned. Event #6: $20K GTD PKO 6-Max Bounty drew a total of 134 entries and when the dust had settled it was James ‘Bagels’ Lillis sitting alone, pulling in a total of $7,397 for his victory.
Lillis was an absolute wrecking ball at the final table, playing a hyper-aggressive style that clearly paid off as they are reigning supreme. He started the final table in the middle of the pack but quickly picked it up, taking down "Edsebo" for a bounty. Shortly after Lillis saw his biggest moment of the final table come to light when his pocket queens bested the king-jack of "Chalmisi6" who had flopped top pair.
The champion took the momentum, along with his newly acquired stack into the blaster gear where he never let off the gas pedal, eliminating every opponent that remained on the table to gain a massive $4,691 bounty by the end of the event. His massive bounty seemed to be at little risk during heads-up play when it was evident that "Fee32" had disconnected, leaving an easy path to victory for Lillis.

Action of The Day
The tournament began with more than any event thus far in the series and by the time late registration had closed, there was more than enough to shatter the guarantee, a thing that was difficult over the last two tournaments. A total of 134 registration buttons were clicked, amassing a prize pool of $26,800 which annihilated the twenty thousand guarantee that was set.
A great turnout had a lot of action when late registration closed and it took just a couple of hands to pop the bubble. Some great players made the money but failed to hit the final table and that list includes Ryan “simlSgg” Hagerty, Mike “MistaMenza” Menzer, and Anthony "supremetny" Chin who won an event earlier this week.
The final table had some short stacks and one of which was "Edsebo" who quickly put their chips in with an ace rag, only to run into the ace-jack of Lillis who sent them out as the first final table elimination. Probably the most recognized poker pro at the table was Michael "Gags30" Gagliano who almost climbed up to a competitive stack but failed to hold on with his pocket nines versus the king-ten of "Fee32" who nailed a river to send Gagliano out in seventh place.
"Chalmisi6" was next in line to take a shot at the future champion in Lillis. "Chalmisi6" called all of their chips into the middle on a jack-high board with king-jack but it was not enough when Lillis showed pocket queens to collect another bounty. Lillis then checked a board down until the river where they put "Shipitagain" all-in and they obliged, tabling a top pair of aces but Lillis had flopped a set of ducks and "Shipitagain" was eliminated.
Daniel "leinad" Buzgon was the next to test his luck when he looked down at ace-ten of clubs after Lillis had raised preflop and Buzgon elected to ship. Lillis called with a pair of sixes, creating a race but a turned six was the demise of Buzgon who was sent out the door in fourth place. The executioner continued his spree with a pair of dimes versus the top pair of nines that "Chen718" had flopped, dropping them to the wayside in third place.
Usually the heads-up portion of these PKO tournaments is intense as only one player gets to retain their own bounty and usually one of the bounties left is worth more than first place. This match however was somewhat different as "Fee32" was disconnected, blinding out until Lillis secured their bounty and the title.
