  • PKO (Progressive Knockout) tournaments are fun, unique events where a dynamic bounty is placed on each player
  • As you knock out other players, you are paid 50% of their bounty and the other 50% is added to your total bounty
  • Unlike regular knockout tournaments the value of the bounties can grow.
  • If you are the victor in a PKO Tournament you win in multiple ways:
    Win the amount in the general prize pool for 1st place
    Win the bounties you earned over the course of the event
    Keep the full amount of the bounty that is on your head

Pahuja Spikes a Bullet to Collect a Bounty

On blinds of 1,800/3,600 Vinny "brownmagic" Pahuja called the all-in of Ramon “hoodrathings” Liriano Jr and the two tabled their hands.

Ramon “hoodrathings” Liriano Jr: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Vinny "brownmagic" Pahuja: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

All was well for Liriano Jr who had a commanding lead with his dimes but an {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop quickly turned the tables as Pahuja landed a pair of bullets. The {5-Spades}{q-Spades} runout was a nonfactor and Pahuja secured the pot, dropping Liriano Jr from the tournament.

Money Has Been Reached; Tentnowski Starting to Heat Up

On blinds of 4,000/8,000 "MBohmerwald23" pushed 59,625 into the middle and Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski called, putting his opponent at risk.

"MBohmerwald23": {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and "MBohmerwald23" was still ahead with their pair of nickels. A {6-Clubs} turn fell and the pair seemed to be holding true until the {10-Hearts} river landed, giving Tentnowski a higher boat to take down the pot and add a bounty.

"Nesquik" Catapults into the Lead

On blinds of 4,000/8,000 there was a turned board that showed {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and two players put all of their chips into the middle.

Stanton "Stonniepokes" Tentnowski was at risk, tabling {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for top pair and some plenty of draws. "Neszquik" showed the nuts, flipping over {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

An {8-Spades} river sealed the deal for "Neszquik" who sent Tentnowski to the rail, jumping atop the leader board during the process of doing so.
