partypoker US Network Online Series (Nov. 29 - Dec.6)

The action is starting with a massive $100,000 Guaranteed Event, larger than the guarantee for the Main event next weekend.

The buy-in today will be $215, and all levels today will be 12 minutes long. Registration will be available until the end of Level 18, or until about 9 PM ET. "softee" and "inconex123" went heads up to a flop of , and "softee" led for 1,000. "inconex123" raised to 3,990, and "softee" called to see the hit the turn. "softee" checked, and "inconex123" kept up the aggression with a bet of 11,949. "softee" was ready to play back though, as he raised to 30,000.

Just under an hour into play today, it's time to take the first break of the day. The tournament lobby says 261 players, meaning they still have a ways to go to reach the $100,000 Guarantee.

She continued: “I think the main thing poker players and everyone can do is to keep an open mind. Understanding that this is unlike any situation any of us have encountered before, and so thinking outside the box can go a long way. Taking the time to improve a skill, or learn a new skill whether it's a game or something else could be really beneficial not just financially, but mentally.”
