Event #6: $215 Six-Max PLO PKO $20K GTD
Day 1 Started
The midweek marquee of October's partypoker US Network Online Series is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET Wednesday evening. Featuring a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool, Event #6: $215 Six-Max PLO PKO will offer a break from the traditional No-Limit Hold'em variant as all competitors will duke it out in the four-card game of Pot-Limit Omaha.
Beyond a different game, this event also features a Progressive Knockout format. In this format, $100 of each player's buy-in will go towards the prize pool while the remaining $100 will be placed atop their head as a bounty. Each time a player is knocked out, half of their bounty will be awarded to their assailant while the other half will be added to that player's own total bounty.
Starting stacks are 50,000 with blinds beginning at 150/300 and an ante of 40. Anyone who is knocked out will have the opportunity to re-enter as many times as they wish through the first 15 levels of play. Levels are set to last 10 minutes each through the first four hours of play, meaning two-and-a-half hours of late registration will be available for all who wish to enter after play begins. From that point, blinds increase to 12 minutes for the rest of the tournament.
Registration is open for everybody in the state of New Jersey across the three platforms of partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker. A complete betting structure has been provided below.

At the beginning of July, the partypoker US Network in New Jersey reached a sizzling conclusion when the WPT Online Poker Open, which combined fields from partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker crowned a winner. The Main Event drew a field of 868 entries, generating a lofty $317,540 prize pool which surpassed its $300k guarantee. It marked the largest ever event for the New Jersey online poker network surpassing the $302,100 prize pool for the $320 buy-in partypoker US Network $250K GTD back on March 29.
In the end, it was David "TheKing411" Coleman who emerged victorious for a payday of $56,586. In addition to the first-place prize, he also earned a WPT Championship Trophy and an $11,000 prize package which includes entry into the next WPT in-person live event, the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, which will take place at Bellagio in Las Vegas ($10,400 buy-in), as well as $600 in cash towards travel expenses.
David Coleman spoke to PokerNews about the win.
In Level 4 with blinds of 300/600 and an ante of 75, preflop action saw 7,800 go into the middle in a heads-up pot between "E.J.D" in the big blind and "StellaParks", who was on the button. A bet and several raises on the flop resulted in "StellaParks" committing their remaining 35,000 and receiving a call.

"StellaParks" saw their top pair, top kicker with a gutshot straight draw run into a set of sevens. The turn gave them four more outs at a newly-found double gutter, but the river instead came to give "E.J.D" a full house and send "StellaParks" to re-enter.

In Level 5 with blinds of 400/800 and an ante of 100, there was 10,200 in the middle on a flop reading with heads-up action between "pay4medsch00l" in the big blind and "ELITEMALESSO", who was in the cutoff.
"pay4medsch00l" made a pot-sized bet and "ELITEMALESSO" called, leaving themselves with just 107 more than a newly-sized pot of 30,600. The turn came and "pay4medschool" thought for a while before checking. "ELITEMALESSO" checked behind and the river came . "pay4medschool" fired out a pot-sized bet and "ELITEMALESSO" called to risk all but the last 107 in their stack.
"pay4medschool" showed for a pair of aces, which was bested by "ELITEMALESSO" as they showed for a turned king-high straight to earn the pot of 91,800 and effectively double in the process.
