$100,000 GTD Main Event
Day 1 Completed
The $400 buy-in, $100K GTD partypoker US Network Online Series Main Event attracted 270 runners, which meant the $100,000 prize pool was paid out to the top 30 finishers. Among those to cash but fall short of making the final table was Ryan “simlSgg” Hagerty (11th - $1,500), BorgataPoker.com Ambassadors Katie Stone (12th - $1,500) and Daniel “leinad” Buzgon (17th - $1,100), Jon “jetsfan411” Borenstein (24th - $850), and “bernstreg” (30th - $650).
At the final table, Vinny “brownmagic” Pahuja was the first to fall after losing a race with queen-jack to the pocket nines of “spinach_kale.” From there, “TheKing411” took over the show eliminating several opponents, including Angel “chromeking” Lopez in fifth place after the former got lucky with ten-four to beat the latter’s ace-queen suited.
With three players remaining, “TheKing411” got lucky again holding ace-king suited against the two black kings of “Pokeher.” A river ten gave “TheKing411” a winning Broadway straight and wound up being the last card of the tournament.
After "Pokeher" bowed out in third place, the final two players quickly came to terms on a heads-up deal to end the tournament. "TheKing411" locked up $21,233.09 and the title, while "odo23" settled for second place and $19,016.92 in prize money.

In Level 35 (60,000/120,000/15,000), "odo23" raised to 240,000 from the cutoff and "spinach_kale" three-bet to approximately 600,000 from the button, which left him less than 100K behind. The blinds both folded and "odo23" called to see the ![]()

flop.
"odo23" checked and then called when "spinach_kale" bet his last 98K.

"upayformypennys" was ahead with aces but "TheKing411" had both straight and flush draws. The
turn made the straight draw irrelevant as a seven would now result in a chop, but the
river was a dagger through the heart of "upayformypennys" as "TheKing411" made the club flush to win the pot.
