"BigBang" found two of the three other nines in the deck on a runout of , but they were still drawing dead by the turn as "joey1way" hit the nut flush to earn the bounty and the pot and leave "BigBang" with no chips remaining.
In Level 14 with blinds of 2,000/4,000 and an ante of 500, the field has been culled down to 18 and just three full tables remain in play. Eric "alwaysliquid" Vanauken is atop the counts, and a complete and updated list of everybody's stack who remains has been provided below.
Level 15 has begun with blinds of 2,500/5,000 and an ante of 625, marking the final 10-minute level of the late registration period. Anyone who wishes to enter may do so until registration closes at 10:42 p.m. ET, at which point the prize pool will become official.

Level 16 (3,000/6,000/750) has begun and the registration period is now officially a thing of the past. Final numbers are as follows: 76 entries generated a total prize pool of $22,800, half of which will be distributed among bounties while the other half will be paid out to the top eight finishers.

The board ran out , giving "GiantGenius" a backdoor gutshot straight draw on the turn that would fail to land and bring about their elimination, one among a flurry of eliminations on both sides of the new level that has brought the field down to 10. Just two tables now remain.
The tournament is on a five-minute break with play having moved into Level 17 with blinds of 3,500/7,000 and an ante of 875. Moments after the elimination of "GiantGenius", "ScarletRaptor" was also eliminated to bring the number of players in the field down to nine.
With one elimination needed to reach the money, hand-for-hand play is now in effect across the two remaining tables. Updated counts have been provided below for the nine remaining players.
In Level 17 with blinds of 3,500/7,000 and an ante of 875, Sponsored Pro Daniel "leinad" Buzgon open-jammed for 97,100 in the hijack and received a call from Eric "alwaysliquid" Vanauken in the cutoff. All remaining players folded and the two were off to the races.

A trey on the flop all but sent Buzgon packing, and the turn confirmed such a result as it ensured no running wheel cards could possibly keep him alive. The river completed the runout and Buzgon was eliminated by Vanauken in ninth place, becoming the official bubble boy of Event #2.
All eight remaining players are now officially in the money, with Vanauken leading the field by a wide margin with a stack of more than 1.8 million.
