The Parx Big Stax 300 has hit the home stretch, with 40 players remaining from the original field of 2,257 entires.
Sunday's Day 2 flight saw a total of 453 entries trim down to the final five tables after 11 hours of play. The night ended with Dan Sweeney (4,570,000) baggng the chip lead, riding a late surge to end Day 2 with a commanding chip stack from Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
Other top stacks going into Day 2 include Albert Harary (3,350,000), Joe Galazzo (3,305,000), and David Larson (3,110,000).
Gregory Fishberg (3,000,000), Daniel Ciancio (2,835,000), Sergey Lukyantsev (2,645,000) and Anthony Chin (2,510,000) are also among the names at the top of the chip leaderboard. With several players still working with plenty of chips, the championship and $110,346 first prize is still anyone's to win.
Play will resume at Level 26 for Monday's Day 3 finale, which will restart with the blinds at 25000/50000/50000.
After five days of play in the Parx East building, the final day of the tournament will move over to the the Parx Casino poker room. Play will resume at noon, with 60-minute levels played until the final table is reached. Once the tournament is down to the final nine, 90-minute levels will be played.

With more than 500,000 already in the middle by the river , and the board showing , Salvatore Busacca, checked from the big blind, Ryan O'Connell bet 275,000 from middle position, and Dan Sweeney reraised all in, with both opponents covered.
Busacca folded, and O'Connell contemplated the decision, which would require committing his 1,870,000 total stack.
After a few moments, O'Connell decided on a call, and Sweeney instantly mucked.
O'Connell showed for sevens full, and in the aftermath appears to have taken the chip lead.

Larson thought it over for a few moments, then decided on a fold.
