The Final Nine

The remaining nine players in the field are now seated at one table. Here's how the table looks.

Seat 1: Adolfo Vaeza
Seat 2: Sandra Naujoks
Seat 3: William Reynolds
Seat 4: Michiel Brummelhuis
Seat 5: Dmitry Stelmak
Seat 6: Will Molson
Seat 7: Tobias Reinkemeier
Seat 8: Lisa Hamilton
Seat 9: Matt Marafioti

There were only two women to enter the field and both have made it to the final nine. Could we see a woman win the $25,000 High Roller Event? Stay tuned and find out!

Another Double Up for Reynolds

Action folded to the small blind where William Reynolds sat. Reynolds moved all in for 161,000. Michiel Brummelhuis called out of the big blind. The blind-versus-blind battle resulted in {10-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} against {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}.

Brummelhuis held the tens and Reynolds the two overcards.

The flop didn't have much for Reynolds when the {K-Hearts} {5-Spades} {4-Diamonds} fell. The turn card was the {3-Spades} which added a some help in the form of a straight draw for Reynolds. With some added outs going to the river, Reynolds hoped for the best.

The river card delivered a beautiful lady for Reynolds to behold... the {Q-Clubs}. He doubled up to 332,000 chips while Brummelhuis dropped back to 900,000.

No One Budging

None of he remaining nine players want to budge. The shorter stacks are hanging on to their chips tightly and the big stacks aren't bothering to mess with one another. It could be a while until we lose one more player and call it a night.

Hamilton Doubles

Tobias Reinkemeier was in the cutoff seat and raised to 25,000. On the button was Lisa Hamilton, the reigning WSOP Ladies' Event champion. She moved all in for around 140,000. The blinds folded and then action fell back on Reinkemeier who went into the tank.

About half a minute went by before William Reynolds called the clock on Reinkemeier. Reinkemeier wasn't pleased and asked Reynolds what he was doing calling the clock on him. But then, he made the call.

Reinkemeier held {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts} against Hamilton's {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades}.

The board ran out {J-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} and Hamilton doubled up. She now has about 320,000 while Reinkemeier dropped to 710,000.

Who's Railing

There's a nice circle of people railing the $25,000 High Roller Event in the back corner of the ballroom and the names aren't all unknown. Lex Veldhuis, Evelyn Ng, Danny Suied, Tommy Vedes, Bryn Kenney, Poorya Nazari, Joe Serock, Pierre Neuville and Chad Batista are all hanging out to check out the action.

Naujoks Blunders

Team PokerStars Pro Sandra Naujoks just had a minor blunder in her tournament. She called a raise to 28,000 from Will Molson out of the big blind and then checked the {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} flop. Molson fired 42,000 and Naujoks moved all in. Molson snap-called for his 281,000 chips her and tabled {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}. Naujoks held {J-Hearts} {10-Hearts}.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and the river the {4-Diamonds}. Molson's pair of queens proved best and he doubled up to 530,000. Naujoks was left with 180,000.
