Tilly Gets Outdrawn

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

With 7,000 in the pot and a board reading {2-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, Melanie Weisner bet 4,575 only to have Jennifer Tilly raise to 10,000. Weisner called and showed {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, which was better than Tilly's {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flopped straight. Tilly dropped to 110,000 while Weisner, who was upset after she realized she could have gotten value, chipped up to 47,000.

Maridu & Negreanu Eliminated

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

PokerStars Team Pro Maria "Maridu" Mayrinck was recently eliminated. She ran her set of tens on the flop against her opponent's flopped set of kings and was unable to surivive, hitting the rail just before the end of Level 4.

Likewise, Daniel Negreanu couldn't keep up his momentum from the $100k Super High Roller tournament and busted when he ran pocket eights into ace-king.

Tilly Continues to Drop

Level 4 : 150/300, 0 ante

Five players saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} including Daniel Alaei and Jennifer Tilly. The action checked to a player in the cutoff who bet 1,825 into about 3,500 and only Tilly called.

The turn brought the {q-Clubs} and Tilly's opponent fired 3,100. Tilly again called.

The {9-Spades} rivered and Tilly's opponent slowed down, checking to Tilly who tossed in 8,000. Her opponent called and Tilly opened up {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a pair of sixes. They were no good against her opponent's {k-Spades}{j-Spades} however, and Tilly's stack dropped to 89,000 chips.

His opponent called and the two watched the {10-Clubs} hit the river. Once again it checked to Veenman and he bet 6,000. His opponent thought about it for a moment vefore relinquishing his hand. Veenman took down the decent-sized pot and increased his stack to 36,000.

Little Has Nothing

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Right before the break Jonathan Little was eliminated from the tournament after a three-way all after a {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop. Here's what the hands looked like:

Little: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Opponent 1: {8-Spades}{3-Spades}
Opponent 2: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Little did not improve on the turn ({j-Diamonds}) or the river ({5-Diamonds}) and hit the rail.
