Garibli Takes a Big One

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Ilkin Garibli made it 105,000 from the hijack and action folded over to Oleksii Khoroshenin in the small blind. The Ukrainian called to see a flop and the big blind folded.

The flop came down {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Khoroshenin checked. Garibli continued for 155,00 and Khoroshenin stuck around. Fourth street paired the board with the {J-Hearts} and Khoroshenin tapped the table a second time. Garibli continued his aggression by cutting out a bet of 230,000. Khoroshenin called once more.

After the {K-Hearts} fell on the river, Khoroshenin reached for chips and dropped 275,000 past the betting line. This immediately elicited a laugh and an eye roll from Garibli, who was now being put to a decision. In the end, he called and watched as Khoroshenin showed {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Garibli tabled {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for jacks full of kings and was rewarded with a sizable pot.
