Heimiller Thinks He Bet Too Big

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller

From under the gun, Dan Heimiller raised to 50,000. Jean-Pascal Savard called from the big blind, and the flop came down {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Savard checked, Heimiller bet 60,000, and Savard called.

The turn was the {6-Spades} to pair the board. Savard opted to lead and fired 61,000. Heimiller put in a raise to 186,000, and Savard tank-called. Then, after the dealer completed the board with the {9-Clubs}, Savard checked, and Heimiller bet 350,000. This sent Savard into the tank, but he eventually gave it up, commenting under his breath that he didn't think his six was good.

"You had a six?" asked Heimiller. "Wow, good fold! You really had a six?"

Heimiller then showed the {6-Diamonds} first followed by the {5-Diamonds} for a full house.

"I can't believe I bet too big!" said Heimiller. "Maybe I didn't, I don't know. Sometimes I can never tell."

Heimiller Takes from Petrangelo

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

After Dan Heimiller and Nick Petrangelo checked the {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop, the {10-Clubs} came out on the turn. Heimiller bet 60,000, and Petrangelo called. The river was the {2-Spades}, and Heimiller bet 124,000. Petrangelo called.

Heimiller tabled the {5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a pair of fives, and Petrangelo mucked his hand after being unable to produce better.

Jaka Ships

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Four players saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Lee Markholt was first to act. He checked and Faraz Jaka led out for 78,000. Ilkin Garibli folded, Oleksii Khoroshenin called, and Markholt let his cards go.

The {J-Spades} hit the turn and Jaka moved all in for his last 219,000. Khoroshenin pondered the decision for a moment but ultimately decided to let it go. Jaka took the pot and now has about 515,000.
