Cheong Pushes On the Turn

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Ari Engel opened to 425 from early position and was called by the player directly to his left. Joseph Cheong was in the cutoff and three-bet to 1,800. The action folded back to Engel who made the call and the third player in the hand elected to fold.

The flop fell {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Engel check-called a bet of 2,400 from Cheong. The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and Engel checked again. Cheong announced all in for just over 10,000 and Engel quickly slid his cards to the muck.

A Walk in the Park

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Hye Park called a raise out of the big blind preflop from an opponent in middle position. The flop came {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Park checked to his opponent who continued for 800. Park check-raised to 2,200 and his opponent still called.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and Park fired another 3,400. His opponent called again and the {a-Diamonds} hit the river. Park thought for a moment and then reached back for a bet of 11,000. His opponent wasted little time before releasing his hand to the muck and Park scooped the pot.

"Rybo" Wins a Small One

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

On a board reading {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, the action was checked to Ryan "Rybo" Smith in middle position. He made a small bet of 500 into a pot of around 1,800. His opponent called from under the gun and {4-Clubs} fell on the river.

The action was checked to Smith again who announced a bet of 1,800. His opponent played with his chips for a minute before tossing in a call. Smith turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and that was good enough to earn him a small pot.

Song Leaps Into the Lead After Busting Malm

Level 3 : 100/200, 25 ante

With around 2,300 in the middle, the dealer fanned a flop of {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The big blind checked and Stephen Song led out for 1,400 from middle position. Michael Malm was in the cutoff and made a raise to 3,600. The button folded as did the big blind and the action was back on Song. He re-raised all in putting Malm to the test for the rest of his 14,000 chips. Malm thought for a couple of minutes before eventually calling.

Stephen Song: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Michael Malm: {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Both players flopped two pair with Song holding the strongest two. The turn was the {k-Spades} and the river brought the {10-Clubs}. Malm was sent to the rail and Song stacked another big pot to sit at the top of the leaderboard.

Blanco Fills Up on the River

We arrived at the table to find the board reading {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Daniel Rezaei had all of his chips in the middle on the button. He was up against Lucas Blanco in the big blind and was faced with the bad news.

Rezaei held {a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, missing his nut flush draw on the turn but wound up with trip aces. However, Blanco revealed {j-Hearts}{j-Spades} for a full house and Rezaei's chips were pushed across the table to his opponent. Blanco stacked a healthy stack of nearly 45,000 and Rezaei was eliminated.
