Bosca Over a Milly

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Vicent Bosca
Vicent Bosca

There was already a sizable pot cooking between Daniel Strelitz and Vicent Bosca on a {J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{K-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} board. Strelitz bet 80,000 and Bosca dipped into his timebank. After burning a card, he opted for a raise to 255,000.

This time, it was Strelitz who needed to burn through his time extensions, and he thought out loud about the possible holdings Bosca could have.

After using up two of his timebanks, Strelitz slid a tower of T-5,000 chips forward to indicate a call. Bosca rolled over {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nut flush and moved up to over one million in chips.

Calamusa Extends Lead; Greenwood Spins Up One Chip

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a limped pot to the {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Sam Greenwood check-raised from 10,000 to 30,000 and Pierre Calamusa called. The {9-Clubs} turn brought a bet by Greenwood and Calamusa called once more before the {10-Spades} fell on the river. Greenwood bet all but one T-5,000 chip for more than 250,000 and Calamusa tank-called.

Greenwood showed {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a bluff gone wrong and Calamusa claimed the pot with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for just a pair of nines.

Greenwood quadrupled once and then got it in the final hand of the night with {8-Spades}{7-Spades} against Brian Altman and his {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, making a flush on the river of a board {J-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Spades}.

"That's why you leave one chip," Altman said with a big grin on the face.

Akkari Loses Flush Over Flush

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Andre Akkari
Andre Akkari

In one of the final hands of the night at the feature table, Pavel Veksler raised to 12,000 in early position, Max Lehmanski called on the button and Andre Akkari called from the big blind.

The flop came down {6-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} and Akkari and Veksler checked to Lehmanski, who bet 12,000. Akkari check-raised to 31,000, Veksler folded, and Lehmanski called. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Lehmanski called all in for 66,000 after Akkari bet big.

Max Lehmanski: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}
Andre Akkari: {10-Spades}{7-Spades}

It was a nasty setup for the Team PokerStars Pro, although he did have one miracle out. The river wasn't the five of spades but the {3-Hearts} and Lehmanski doubled up.

Deadman Doubles in Final Hand

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Simon Deadman was all in for 66,000 with the {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Ivan Galinec looked him up with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

Deadman tossed his final time bank extension towards the dealer before the flop came {K-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The {A-Clubs} turn improved the Brit and he remained in contention after a blank {Q-Diamonds} river.
