Gary Thompson had lost half of his larger stack but made up for it when he scored a double through Long Meng. With some 26,000 in the middle, Meng paid off a double for 40,300 to Thompson as his cards wee already dragged into the muck.

The Irishman had flopped top set and rivered a full house with the Q♥Q♠ on a board of Q♦3♣2♦10♥2♣ to get back where he was only a few minutes ago.
