Danny Tang was the first player to limp in with the A♣7♣ and then saw Paul Phua do so with the 9♥9♦, Chen Ming Kong followed suit with the [1010h]. Jun Wah Yap limped the A♥Q♦ in the cutoff too and chip leader Winfred Yu then jammed on the button holding the K♦K♣.

It folded back to Kong who tanked for a while and folded, as did everyone else.

Ming Hong Teoh opted to open-shove for the 925,000 as the first player to act. It folded all the way to Danny Tang on the button, who glanced at his cards face-up while waiting for the exact count on the shove. He then called and the cards were revealed.

Chen Ming Kong jammed for 1,100,000 from under the gun with the A♣10♣ and Jun Wah Yap called from the next seat with the A♦K♣. They got through all other players and Kong needed to improve to stay alive.

The K♠J♠8♦6♣Q♣ runout ultimately provided a broadway straight to Kong, as Yap dropped into the danger zone.

Winfred Yu limped the Q♣J♣ and Paul Phua did so with the J♦9♦ in the hijack. Chen Ming Kong in the cutoff raised to 300,000 with the A♠A♦ and table short stack Jun Wah Yap folded out of the big blind.

Yu opted to call and Phua folded.

The A♣K♦J♠ flop gave Kong the top set while Yu held bottom pair and a gutshot, as well as back door clubs. He checked and Kong riffled his larger chip denominations before moving all-in for 2,000,000, which forced a fold from Yu.
