Hermann and Van Loo checked the flop. Silz continued for with a min-bet of 80,000, which was enough to take down the pot with both of his opponents opting to fold.

Silz took the chip lead after winning the hand.

Leonard Hermann min-raised the button to 200,000 and was called by Maximilian Silz from the big blind.

Silz check-raised the flop from 200,000 to 675,000 and Hermann called. The followed on the turn and Silz jammed for 2,500,000. Hermann called off for 1,300,000 and players turned over their cards.

Hermann flopped both the top pair and a flush draw and added an open-ended straight draw on the turn. It was more or a less a coin-flip situation for Hermann with one card to come against the two pair held by Silz.

The river didn't complete any of Hermann's draws and he was eliminated in fifth place for €7,270.

Meanwhile, Silz has extended his chip lead and had more than double the chips of his nearest competitor in Tim Van Loo with four players remaining.

Baier Gets Lucky Against Van Loo

All three players checked after Van Loo improved to the nut flush on the flop. Baier and Van Loo both checked the turn before Silz bet 400,000. Baier folded and Van Loo raised to 1,400,000. Silz folded and Van Loo was back in the lead after winning the hand.

Silz check-raised the flop from 200,000 to 700,000 and Van Loo called. Silz continued his aggression with a bet of 700,000 on the turn and Van Loo called again.

The river completed the board and Silz jammed for 2,400,000. It could have been all over if Van Loo was able to find a call. But Van Loo folded the best hand and the stacks were close to even after the hand.
