Huntly Out-Kicked and Out-Flushed

On a flop of {8-Hearts} {A-Hearts} {2-Spades}, Dennis Huntly and another player got all their chips in, with Huntly having his opponent covered. He showed {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}, but his opponent tabled a bigger kicker with {A-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}.

Fourth street was the {10-Hearts}, and the river brought the {9-Hearts}, and Huntly dropped a big chunk of chips to his opponent's bigger flush. He is down to 3,000.

Michael Palti
Michael Palti
Michael "Shark Boy" Palti opened with a raise to 900 under the gun, and Kim Peart moved all in for a total of 3,300. Palti called, having his opponent covered. Peart tabled {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} and was in good shape versus Palti's {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}.

Trouble found Peart on the river though, as the community cards came {3-Spades} {3-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {Q-Spades}. She sent the rest of her chips over to Palti on a three-outer and heads to the rail.

Aces Hold for Debsia

The player in the cutoff raised to 700 and Tony Hachem called on the button. Camil Debsia was in the small blind, and reraised to 3,600. The cutoff then moved all-in, which prompted Hachem to respond, "They won't let me see a flop on this table!"

Debsia made the call.

Showdown:
Debsia: {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}
Opponent: {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}

With the board running out {8-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {K-Clubs}, Debsia scored the elimination of his opponent and moved up to 18,000 chips.

Duckworth's Last Quack

Tim Duckworth has just been eliminated from the tournament after a pair of successive hands knocked him down and then out.

In the first of two, a player in the cutoff raised to 800 and Duckworth moved in over the top from the button for his last 4,400. Duckworth's opponent made the call and tabled a pocket pair of eights; Duckworth tabled {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} and was in bad shape. The board filled out nine-high and Duckworth was left with 750 chips heading into the next hand:

Preflop, Van Marcus raised to 600 and Duckworth moved in for his remaining 750. Marcus was the lone caller and his {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} bested Duckworth's {A-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} after the board ran out {K-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}.
