He was against Nikolaos Pouliezos and both players checked with the hitting the turn. Efthimiadis check-called Pouliezos' bet and the hit the river with Efthimiadis shoving all in, with a stack of 32,000.

Great Structure for Deepstack Poker

The tournament has a great structure, since the players start with 100,000 chips and even after 8 levels the blinds are as low as 800/1,600.

This means that if you enter the tournament two levels before the end of the day you will still have in front of you more than 60 big blinds.

This level passed by without many big hands, as players are probably feeling that they are getting close to the end of Day 1a, which means that they will achieve the first goal of a live poker tournament, advancing in the second day of play.
