Chop It Up

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

As we arrived, the flop was already out in a pot between David Peters (big blind) and Rainer Kempe (button). Peters bet 18,000 on {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Kempe called.

Peters ran down his 30-second clock on the {K-Hearts} turn and only had a second left to act when he made it 28,000. Kempe did the same with his clock, calling at the last second.

The {2-Clubs} on the river saw Peters check. Kempe, again, needed all the time he had and was just in time moving in for 111,600. Peters called.

Kempe showed {Q-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Peters tabled {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} for the chop.
