Slow Restart

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

The two remaining tables are playing rather slow after coming back from the break and barely any notable hand took place. After a couple of raise and take its, Eric Cech raised to 110,000 and David Kahan shoved from the cutoff to claim the pot.

Then, Alexis Fleur raised to 110,000 from the button and Daniel Harwood defended the big blind. The duo checked the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and Harwood's bet of 155,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn won the pot.

Kassam Doubles Through Kahan

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

David Kahan previously scored a lucky double through Rehman Kassam and the latter just took revenge in a battle of the blinds. Kahan had found a premium with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} in the small blind and Kassam was all in and at risk out of the big blind for 630,000 with the {A-Clubs}{3-Spades}.

The flop came {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Kassam picked up a few more outs. After the {A-Diamonds} turn, he improved to two pair and even made a full house with the {A-Hearts} river. "Can you smile now please, bro" Daniel Harwood said while the pot was shipped to Kassam.

Kahan was left with less than five big blinds.

Cech Wins Some Off Cortese

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Eric Cech
Eric Cech

While Clement Tripodi has become active on table one and won some chips, then lost them back, the action on table two is typically dominated by Francesco Cortese as initial raiser. The Italian just opened again and Eric Cech defended the big blind. On the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, Cech check-called a bet worth 175,000 before the {3-Spades} turn and {9-Clubs} river went check, check.

Cech showed {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Cortese mucked.

Kassam Goes on a Small Heater

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Harwood opened to 115,000 and Francesco Cortese called in the small blind. Rehman Kassam moved all in and Harwood seemed interested, asked for a count. The shove of Kassam was for 1,240,000 and Harwood folded, Cortese also got out of the way.

The next hand, the action folded to Cortese on the button and he made it 115,000 to go. Kassam three-bet to 380,000 and claimed another pot. Harwood tried to get some info and Kassam just shrugged and said "kings."

James Mitchell
James Mitchell

Ludovic Geilich opened for 110,000 in the cut-off and James Mitchell three-bet to 305,000 from the button and the blinds folded.

Geilich gave it some thought before calling. The flop was {2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} with both players checking to see the turn card come the {4-Diamonds}.

Geilich bet 180,000 and Mitchell called.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and Geilich cut out some chips and slid out a bet of 410,000.

Mitchell moved all in and after sizing up the situation Geilich folded.

Boyko Takes it on the Flop

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

A surprised Daniel Harwood scooped a pot after betting the {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} river for 335,000 and Francesco Cortese called. Harwood only had {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} but that was enough to scooop the pot, as Cortese mucked.

At the same time over on the other table, James Mitchell raised to 120,000 from the cutoff and Yuriy Boyko called on the button. Lam Van Trinh three-bet to 310,000 in the small blind and both opponents called. The flop of {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} was checked to Boyko and his bet worth 240,000 won the pot uncontested.
